QUOTE(Wildman @ Feb 25 2011, 1:43 am) *

I voted for TGF and for me there is a simply explanation!!

I loved LIVE, but that is now over, I know that, but it does not stop me listening to them wink.gif

After The Guys and ED seperated and got their new albums out, I started listening to both of them.

ED's album did not do it for me, it was even softer then 'SFBM' which I have listened to 2 times,...and ED's album....only about a minute per song, this was NOT my cup of tea at all. For me this was disappointing.

Then there was....TGF....with their album,...I started listening to it, and I still am, must have heard it for more than a 1.000 times I think,...I know the songs from start to end, and I really really love it,...this is how ROCK is supposed to be, then there came the Youtube Vids of their performances, and I was blown away, the sheer joy and raw rock they presented was JUST my glas of beer lol.gif .

And after their last Performance in Amsterdam, I am addicted and infected by The Gracious Few, I am still high of it. The Guys not only ROCKED, They also interacted with the audience, and after the show was done, they came out to the bar to chat with their fans!!

Great Guys, TGF!!

O and did I mentioned somewhere, that during the concert Kevin & I sing together happy.gif tongue.gif kicking.gif that was an experience never to forget!! thumbsup.gif

can you feel the ^(@^&*#%(#&)@(*- excitement people???? get to a show and you will also!

Poke, I thought for sure you'd spring for one of the Euro shows.

They have said extensive touring this year. I know they'd like to get to Autrailia, it's a matter of when.

I hope they come back to Toronto. If they do Buffalo, Toronto and Montreal I'll go to all 3!

No, not really sarcasm, wondering if you were able to get to Europe if possible.

haha it's not exactly as close and as cheap to get to for me as say, I dunno, New Zealand. That would be a pretty spur of the moment couple of thousand gig tongue.gif

i got a 700 dollar flight to europe a few weeks back for work. Roundtrip. Obviously that was comped, but if so I would spend it on my own. That's cheaper than some US domestic fares. I do hope they get down your way this year.

Pretty sure it's cheaper getting to Europe from the US though than from Australia. We're in the middle of nowhere sad.gif ... would love to be able to do so but your average flight to Europe return is about $2300 at this time of year, couple that with accomodation, spending money, food etc... on top of the fact saving too, just a little *too* much for a gig. With the possible exception of it being something like the final ever Morrissey concert or a once off Smiths reunion (which aint happening!). sad.gif

I hope so too, but I still have the feeling in my head that when they come here for whatever reason I won't be in Aus, just a horrible feeling in my gut!

I think the intrigue for Eddie K. has completely died. We all know what his next album is going to sound already.

I didn't buy Alive and I certainly won't be buying his next release. Downloading it illegally would likely be a waste of time as well.

Abso-friggin-lutely. Ed is and has been a total disgrace to me and other Live fans for over 9 years now. His newest album and most of his recent work is completely abhorrent.

TGF is pretty darn amazing and I hope they continue writing quality music.
