I'll take it! Nothing compares to Live IMO, so I would love to see them back. Many artists work on multiple projects, so this isn't uncommon. They should have done this a long time ago anyways (CCP working on another band and Ed doing a solo album). Probably would have saved many of the problems that they've had over the past 10 years.

Btw, CT said he was meeting with Ed in July...wouldn't that be 2 years since they announced their 2 year hiatus?

Very good post, I agree totally.

The problem Nick, is that the version of Live that you love and want to see reunited, is the version that didn't work and ultimately blew up. Let me just say, thank god for that.

Hate to say it but if these guys re-form as Live just to do a kitschy "legacy tour" then they will have finally lost me as a fan. I hung on through BOP and SFBM hoping for something better, and that something better finally came along when the group split.

That tour would not receive a single penny from me.

Now, if they actually wrote another album TOGETHER, I will give it a shot. But I'm not sure I can let them off the hook after everything that came out in the split, it is disappointing to hear CT say that they just "needed space." That's just a load of bullshit, and either way, it is a more powerful/interesting story if they took the forgiveness angle and acknowledged what happened and how they overcame it.

I think the only way there will ever be a new Live album is if they all wrote it together. I can't see it any other way.

I remember you ripping KM and Sean pretty hard for doing Candlebox and TGF. How can you agree with this post then?

I agree with you, I don't see that happening. I just hope they go all the way or don't get back together at all.

Funky raises a good point. Your opinion must have change.

All I care about is new TGF music, which looks to be on the horizon.

He can agree with it because Ed is involved in something that will make him more money. This helps Nick sleep at night.

What would be funny is if those bags were turned upside down and all that fell out was a pile of shit.

My issue was CCP leaving Live behind to work with a new frontman who would be splitting commitments. I see no reason that Live, Candlebox, TGF, and Ed's solo career can't all exist to some extent.

What are you thoughts on CCP perhaps trying to mend fences with Ed?
