It was filmed at the Enmore Theater in Sidney. I like it.

Who's decision was it to present the video in the 4:3 aspect ratio? no.gif

I always wished Live did a back-stage/concert/lounge type of video with a strong song behind it, but too bad that never happened (all the video's post 2000 weren't very exciting anyway).

The STAND video is nice and oke, although Ed seems to play the famous rockstar a little too much. But it's not bad.

I like the video. I think it is well done. The song Stand is catchy. But I still really truly wish that Ed hadn't gone all stole and collar christian on us. Even if Live broke up and Ed went on to do his solo career, and nothing else that happened was changed, I would be a much bigger Ed fan - a HUGE fan - if Ed was singing about edgy philosophical rebellion against the very things that he is actually preaching (ahem, I mean singing) about now. But I like the concert footage. It really showcases one of Ed's strong-points, which is that terrific, expressive stage presence. One thing you can't criticize is Ed's full expression of his music on stage.

Ramy or whatever that drummer's name is should change his name to Richard Cranium. I can't stand that guy.

I'm sure Adam wouldn't like the way I puuting this because it sounds like I feel sorry for him - but I see Adam in that footage and I can't help but think of him as a hostage. A talented musician and wonderful guy like Adam can't posibly be fully satisfied playing back-up session musician in his more-famous big brother's commercially irrelevant band. I see his face in that video and I want to give him a hug.

Adam has been given much more freedom on stage in this band than he ever had with Live. If you asked Adam, I'd bet he'd admit to you that he enjoys performing with this new band better.

I talked to Adam a couple of months ago and he kept saying about how he liked playing in the new band and how grateful he was to be in it. He seemed very genuine when talking about it too. He did mention that he was planning on going back into the studio this year though to work on solo material.

Excellent. If Adam's happy then I'm happy.

Ed is an "alternative pop" singer since V. In this video he looking like a rock star eh.gif Alive's sound was rock yes but he can try to use his acoustic guitar more, or can find real rock musicians like velvet revolver? I dont like edk solo album.

It seems like whoever uploaded the video to YouTube cropped the video to 4:3, because after seeing a television broadcast of "Stand" the actual video is 16:9.

Moshcam have just uploaded a 720p 16:9 HD version of the video to youtube (that'd be right - just after I finished authoring the EK Enmore DVD angry.gif )
