I wonder how the Churchbox sessions will turn out. I mean the alternate version of MJ (DMDP) I like as much as the album songs, in some aspects even better! The alternate version of TC (demo tape) I can't really say I ever listen to 'em (except for the 2 outtakes), and I think everyone will agree it can't match the great album. Then again, DMDP was probably a more finished (and official) product then the TC demotape was. PTTSS (or what was it called?), alternate demo version of TDTH, had it's moments with 2 real good outakes (albumtrack worthy) and here and there an intro or outro. (Not counting the compilation cd with rarities that NectarDan had years later).

I wonder how we will look back on the alternate version SS in about 5 years! As we can believe CT, this might be the best 'alternate' version of one of their albums and also maybe the most different one.

Thanks. Since Chris is from York as well maybe he was in the area at the time. Is he listed in the liner notes as contributing to any of the songs on Secret Samadhi? I have a feeling this session is going to be well worth the wait!

Update by CT via the Live Facebook page:

We started to work on a project near and dear to my heart a few months back. We hit a positive "snag" on the release date but we think it's going to be well worth the wait. I'll try and keep you posted as any fan of LIVE would love what we're putting together. Hope everyone is doing well and please suggest LIVE to your friends!

Sounds like we can expect a longer wait. cry.gif Anybody have any inside info on the snag?

Yeah, I have concerns though that the problem lies on the legal side of things. Picking the tracks, getting mastering done, and doing artwork (if there is any) shouldn't take long enough to be considered a snag. Hopefully they are actually able to put it out there, but this does worry me. Hopefully it isn't what I think!

Chad said it was a "positive" snag. Maybe the release of these Live tracks are going to clash with the TGF acoustic EP or maybe Chad's found some other songs they want to include with the Live collection? Pure speculation of course.
