With all the money talk this was perfect timing. Ed just told people on facebook to go to his store and check it out!

Exact Quote: "(Ed K.) Attention shoppers :-) click on our new "On-Line Store" tab above and peruse the various EK sundries at your leisure....cheerio!"

A new and shiny store tab. It's all about the Benjamins!

lot of money talk as of late. didn't chad post something about looking for investors for tgf? i guess it is all about the benjamins.

TGF wants people to buy stock, like they did when Live started out. Big difference here. You should understand that.

I wouldn't buy stock on the advice of a rock star.

To be fair, I wouldn't be investing on a rock star's word either. not saying it's gonna be a terrible investment, but I just wouldn't. I don't even know if Nick is specifically reffering to CT or just anyone, I'm guessing he wouldn't invest in Ed on his word in all reality. But if I'm wrong then, well...

Live used the investors model early on and so do a lot of other up and coming bands. As an investor, you don't invest in the band to get rich, you do it to support the band expecting nothing in return. It is similar to donating to a non-profit.

We'll talk when they start selling pendants and coffee featuring pictures of their kids.

Ya, that fucking made me laugh. I'm quite sure Sean could play Lives songs without much difficulty. As it stands, to me that comment is the most uninformed and stupid thign I read thus far this year. Let's see if it wins at the end of the year.

My mistake I trully am a fuckhead sometimes I mean't Kevin!!!!! Sorry ppl I know the old peoples names but stuff up the newcomers and got them the wrong way round. Kevin can't sing in a live setting thats what I mean't to say. I saw a TGF version of lakinis juice on youtube n lets just say it was no good. Replace kevin & maybe then they're onto something just a pity it probably won't be ed eh.

ahh ok, As far asKevin singing Live? Well, who cares? He's in TGF and does a great job there. From all the vids I see of them in concert he's pretty much ace. Not to mention the show I was at in Toronto.

Think it was played a couple of times. To be fair too it didn't sound great. But that's the way it goes, KM is a good singer but not god. He can't pull off LJ, same as I'm sure Ed couldn't make half the candlebox songs sound good, he'd pussify them up. Difference is KM and TGF realised early on that LJ wasn't working. Ed continues to let his band bastardise it.

IF they could pull it off I didn't mind the idea of 1-2 RARE Live/Candlebox songs in the set. Not something to build the set around like Ed does, but as a treat to fans for songs that they've missed out on seeing in concert for years and years. But, the fact that from what I heard of KM doing Live songs didn't really grab me, then I'm not too fussed anymore. But I'm not against the idea in principal. Certainly wouldn't want them touring with big slogans saying "Playing all the hits from Live and Candlebox!" no.gif
