CT just put the alternative version of Run to the Water on Live's FB page.

By the way, CT asked people to post when they first heard Live, fav song, album, etc and there are some great comments written by the fans. Definitely worth checking out.

Did they always have this quote in the band's profile information?

Let's hope this is the start of a reconciliation of sorts.

CT is just home bored and on pain medication. Working on the amazing holiday gift must have gotten him all nostalgic.

I hope the 4 can be friends again but I would much rather have TGF than any of the Live albums since TDTH. It isn't even close.

Nick, let me ask you a question, Why do you want so hard for them to reunite? They're in different places musically, they seem to be forgiven (tgf guys) of Ed and how things got the way they did. They've both moved on. I am sure we don't hear Ed say much because of that thing in the courts. CT is home rehabbing and he did say we're getting this holiday gift. He's assisting his brother Adam in getting his next CD released. I am sure he's trying to stay busy. Rehabbing from surgery is a bitch.

I am proud to call up any Live release and ROIO on my ipod and I do regularly. It's done and I have fond memories of the music and the shows. Are you sick of Ed's solo thing already? Why don't you pick up the phone and ask him what's up?

Nick wants LIVE back together because if there isn't a reunion, Ed will run out of material to play at his solo shows.

I'm not at all sick of Ed solo, but Ed solo along with Live shows would be the best of both worlds.

This Live discussion is the most active this board has been in months. I think more fans miss Live than just me.

Yes the apparently do but they seem to be uninformed on facebook, a lot of them. Guess they're not following recent events as much as we do on this board.

Well, you'd rather see Ed perfom live songs solo with his band (along with his solo stuff) and then see Live do the same thing? I am not following the logic. Double the nostalgia, not for me.

Ed can perform acoustic shows solo, and full band rock with Live. Best of both worlds.

Funny coming from the guy who insisted repeatedly that Kevin and Sean weren't committed to TGF since it was a "side project."

I really don't get the angle of wanting Live to reform, especially so soon. Live fans get two artists to enjoy from here on out, and from what I can tell there aren't many who hated both releases.

I don't want Live without Ed, and I don't want Live touring just to play their greatest hits. That will be a sad day if it comes.

Pretty much what funky said.

right now you have Live fans who crave that rockier heavier sound that Live used to bring in the 90s and that is being fulfilled with TGF. And you have the Nick Live fans who prefered their pop-rock sound of the 00's that is being fulfilled by Ed solo. Bringing Live back together under the same circumstances that they existed in for the last 7-8 years will just be taking away things that we're finally able to freely enjoy fully.

Live should only get back together on the basis that all members have equal part and say in writing so it's not just the Ed show. And once they have fully explored and exhausted their current avenues. Right now it seems that CCP and Ed are having too much fun doing their own things so bringing that to a close or scaling it back in search of a bigger pay day is NOT a good thing and not what music is about.

I don't give a damn if Live will pull in 1000 more people per night to the gig than TGF is or 500 more than Ed currently is, that is no reason to reform a band. Nick's whole "it makes sense..." line is purely looking at it through a music exec's eyes. If Live reformed with a new singer too, then that's no good. Live is only in my mind the original 4.

If Live does reform down the track for all the right reasons then I'll definitely welcome it and go and see them again, but as of right now I'm content with what we have.
