I think Kev's voice is a bit raspy, perhaps he was under the weather. You can hear that his suffering from something. Listen to the Few track on the portland CD. When he intro's the song and the vocals. His voice prob needs the break, as he's done a ton of shows this year with CB & TGF. Nonetheless, I appreciate they put out these concert cd's.

Has anyone been able to confirm whether any of the recordings sound better than the Seattle recording? I boght the Seattle recording and it sounds so bad, I didn't even listen to most of it. I will buy any of these recorded shows that sound good.

I bought the Anaheim one and its about the same level as the Seattle one, and those 2 are better than some others I have heard haha
It was really nice of them to get something like this organised but the quality is a massive fail overall.

San Diego Show is really good. It's bold, lound and strong.

Kinda why the whole IP and trade discussion came up. People are willing to spend money when they are sure they're getting the desired product. I'm still waiting for the show with Jerry to come in the mail, I'll let anyone know if it's better. I'm not optimistic.

I received San Diego in the mail last month & have traded for 2 others and Im not entirely impressed. In fact, I listened to San Diego one time through and then put it on my shelf. Ive listened to the Cincy, Indy and Colorado Springs audience recordings more recently than the Abbey Road stuff.

I think the amature recording of Cincinnati is my favorite thus far.

I totally agree!! I have the San Francisco show and don't like it at all. It's definitely coming off my ipod. I almost cringe when a song comes on. Kevin was sick and not in his best voice. The thing that really throws it off was the fact that it sounds like the feed went right into his microphone with the music and everything else somewhere in the background and not as loud. I've heard and been to a show or 2 before where he was not feeling well and when the music and his vocals were at the same level it all sounded fine.

I hope next time around they don't go this route, the recording of that Ohio show is awesome. I haven't listened to the whole thing but the few tracks that shuffled up on my ipod sounded incredible!

Thanks to whoever recorded it!!

I've listened to it in my car audio (which is very good system), it seems pretty good to me.

I got my copy of the San Francisco show in. It's the show where Jerry joined them on stage and played/sung a few songs. The songs he participated in I had never heard before and I don't know what the titles are. Unfortunately I haven't given them a deep listen because the quality, like the others, is very poor.

I'll agree with OTD. The best boot and live performance we currently have captured is the fan-recording of the Cincinnatti show. Just wish the incredibly off-pitched chick didn't run crying time. Sorry if she's a member here.

Here is the direct link to the TGF order page:

Does anybody know what happened to these recordings? I tried visiting the site above to place an order but there's no mention of TGF on their site. Have they all sold out?
