I used to have a recording of this show. I remember they played like 30 songs and just wouldnt quit! I know V wasent the best era but that tour for V kicked ass then! So much energy and they were all having fun then! I really miss those days! whistle.gif

Everyone has a recording of Grunspan in perfect soundboard quality and the day when I talked to the lady who was lucky to be there is some nice memories I must say

And yes, it was legendary. Not so much for the quality of the show, but for the total surprise. The gig was advertised as an intimate acoustic show which was a first, and it turned into total anarchy. The guys stopped following the set list after a couple of songs and played any song they could think of. Did requests. Pulled a guy from the audience to fill in the lyrics. Treated the audience with a shot of tequila (well, they ran out of bottles after the first couple of rows, but the it was a cool gesture and I happened to be in the front). Played for three hours straight. They were wasted.

This was all around the moment I was about to give up my love of the band. Needless to say, the spontaneity and complete greatness of this show spurred by dedication again.

Thanks for those personal insights to that show Gert!!! Wondered how they got so sloshed, it was totally evident to me the first time i listened to the show.
