1) Nick used to be more reasonable and objective.
2) Good Pain once "trusted Nick's judgment"

I honestly think that Nick probably questions Ed a little more than he'd like to let on, and probably knows deep down that some of the points we are making are right, we all know he's never always been Ed's biggest fan, and has questioned him in the past, the first post here being the proof. But unfortunatly now he sees himself as having to fight for Ed and stand up for Ed because no one else is and he feels he needs defending. So instead of having a rational discussion and conceding some points and saying "ok I see what you're saying there..." he will instead argue each and every point for Ed because it's his "role".
Which is so silly because I think each one of us that argue on the side of CCP have things about them that we don't agree with, they maybe all sorts of different things - songs they created on TGF, their decision making regarding handling TGF, their premature announcements on things like the website etc... whatever it is, the vast majority of us who support CCP have things which we will openly discuss which we think is negative about them - that's normal.
Whereas Nick in his role as "Ed defender" seems incapable of conceding any wrong doing or bad judgement or any negative thing regarding Ed at all. It's child-like hero worship or religious devotion where the messiah can do no wrong ... it's just not normal, human or natural to think like that.

Amazing how time flies by and yes I once married to a red head......I trusted Nick's judgement in that there was signs of the end of the band. Much like many LIVE fan who had followed them to that point selfishly we wanted our band to still tour, but it was painfully obvious there were issues. My issues with SJN are more than just LIVE issues so my disdain for him is deeper rooted. People the point of all of this is SJN is playing a role, he believes that all of this is pure entertainment and that he is a Heel. Times change, people most certainly change, and life moves on. I'm back to the ignore level with SJN since he all but admitted to the fact that he is playing a role here in cyberspace. LIVE is moving on and so should all of us, tired of the past let's enjoy what the future holds and the present.

That is the case, but his fantasy heel role has made many people really angry at him and moreso.

I agree that he has done enough to piss people off.....but I'm choosing to just move on from even acknowledging his rants and raves.
