I think Chad is talking about the San Francisco show, but I'm not 100%. Can anybody confirm?

Yes, it was the SFO show. I am definitely adding it to my list of shows to buy, but I want to wait until the West Coast tour is over to place my order to see if any there are any other notable shows to add to the list.

Does anybody know how much postage is to Australia? I've tried to create an account but it says 'invalid captcha' when I submit my details. The problem is that there's no captcha to enter! lol

$7.00 plus they are charging GST which was $2.00 on 1 album. I queried the 'tax' charge because I thought they had it wrong but apparently they have an 'Australian Operation' so need to charge it. It doesn't show up though until you are at the end of your order which I believe is not entirely legal for Australia.

Oh, my account went thru ok...can't remember the 'captcha' bit!

This was on my invoice..

SUBTOTAL: 20.00

Total Pick Up / Download Tax: 0
Total Ship Home Tax: 2.00

Total Shipping Charge: 7.00

GRAND TOTAL: 29.00

I'm waiting to receive the Seattle show.

Who went to San Diego? Was that a good one to buy? Any others a particularly great show?

does anyone know the setlists of the shows being sold? I would like to buy either a) the show that most resembles the Columbus show or b) the show that had rarities or a new cover. I know that most of the setlists are exactly the same, but I would still love to know beforehand....

Anyone got their cd yet? Curious to hear what people think of the quality. Considering how fast I got my Pixies one, I'm hopeful to have the TGF one by next friday or the following Monday. But I think that might be wishful thinking ... guessing the Pixies one came quicker because the package was from Australia and considering it was an Australian gig it was probably all recorded by people based here and kept here to send out

I went to the San Diego show and the Anaheim show. I bought the live cd for the Anaheim show. They were both great shows but the Anaheim show had a better audience. Wish it was video instead of audio. I recoded some video on my camera but the sound is horrible! They even had a 13 or 14 year old girl playing guitar on stage. Also Kevin's wife got on stage and played the tambourine. Can't wait for them to start touring again in the Spring. Looking forward to another excuse to return to California and an excuse to buy a good video camera too! smile.gif

I will let you know how the cds sound when I get a chance to listen...just got back from Cali and it's finals week.

Got my first CD today - SHOWBOX - Seattle, WA (others to come). My initial comments...

- CD presentation is good - Nice case and the CDs themselves appear to have been professionally printed. There is a sticker on the front that identifies the show. I assume all of the cds will look the same with different stickers on the cases.
- The track information is not on the case or included with the files. After loading into Itunes I had to manually add all the track information.
- It's No Good is included on the CD, I know some people were speculating that it might not be
- From my initial scan of the tracks sound quality is pretty good, need to listen to the entire cd before commenting further

I have a few pictures of the discs if anybody is interested I can send them along.

I got my Seattle and San Fran discs today and agree with SctSamadhi, nice packaging, but it would have been nice to have the track listing on the discs or in an insert. I'm ripping the discs now and will let you know how they sound.

I too received my Seattle, WA show discs today. The packaging IS top notch, though it is a bummer that there's no tracklist. We're all TGF fans though, so when ripping the discs, it'll only take a few seconds per song to code it in.

I'm a little bummed about the recording quality though... KM's voice warbles in and out through several songs (the end of The Few in particular) and I'm not sure about the drums, but at least in Appetite they don't sound as good as they could.

I've only gotten 4 songs in... I too will be ripping them and putting them on my iPhone for further dissection.

Even with all my naggles above, I still absolutely love having a record of the show and for $20, I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Hopefully each show has been purchased by someone so we can judge the quality of each concert. If there's one that sounds better than the Seattle show, I'll buy it just so I can have the best possible quality concert recording.

Maybe we should upload a snippet of the first song of each concert to judge quality? That's not too terribly wrong, is it?

Update: Setlist:

Appetite
The Few
Tredecim
TROY
Silly Thing
All I Hear
Crying Time
Guilty Fever
It's No Good
Closer
Great Houses Do Fall (Front Porch)
Honest Man (Front Porch)
Nothin' But Love (Front Porch)
What's Wrong
Nothin' But Love
Honest Man
Sing

As you wish, live2cd! Here's a snippet of Appetite and Honest Man from the Seattle show. I picked these two specifically because they're the first and second-to-last songs of the setlist, so you can tell that there was some adjustments done to the sound. However, I still think KM sounds funny.
