just to be clear....we can order these AFTER the show, correct? Meaning, I hope to see the setlist first before I purchase? Not that the setlist is going to change that much, but I would still like the option....but I don't want to get shut out from getting any of these.

As far as I can tell you can order them after the show but there is only a limited amount being made or something so you run the risk of it selling out. I think.

So, any info on the December 1 (Seattle) show? Did anybody go to the show and pick up a recording?

Edit: I wonder whether cover tracks will be played (or included on the CD) as TGF would need to pay royalties to the owner...

The Seattle show was EPIC and it sounded amazing as I thought it would. Kevin had a week off in Seattle for the holidays before the Spokane show on Tuesday night so his voice was fully restored, not that it really needed it. Didn't grab a set list but they played the album in its entirety including All I Hear, plus the Depeche Mode cover and for the Front Porch session they played Great Houses Do Fall, Honest Man and Nothing But Love. The Abby Road Live site doesn't appear to have set list posted so I hope this helps. Didn't pick up a Cd last night but I'm picking this show up online for sure. Good, enthusiastic crowd - I'd estimate about 600 people in the house but it's a large venue that holds well over 1000.

I hope the DM cover is definitely included on the Cd, but it could be kind of a double whammy because Kevin also does a Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter outro in that song which is awesome but if it's significant enough, might also have to be included in the royalties pool. We'll see. I wish I just picked mine up after the show.

About time Dangum closed that thread created by LiveRocks.

Ironic part of it is that LiveRocks got the last word!

According to the Abbey Roads website my Showbox recording has already shipped. That seems way too fast...

Thanks for the quick review Nitro. Sounds like it will be a great recording.

I was hoping for some Rooster, being that it is Seattle and all.

Considering they have it available straight after the show has finished then it doesn't seem like too much of a stretch. Nice to see they go their shit together!

No Rooster. No Jesus Christ Pose. No Far Behind. Just Kevin, Sean, Chad, Chad and Pat delivering a brand of Rock & Roll all their own and the Seattle fans responded rabidly.

If you want to hear Kevin do some Rooster, here's Candlebox doing Rooster as an intro to a rocked up version of Lucy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xuw7eS4aOHE

Yeah, I knew he did Rooster, that's why I thought he would do it in Seattle. They did Springsteen in Jersey, so I figured maybe. I thought you were posting my video. This one is mine from June '09.

I'm guessing the Depeche Mode cover won't be included because of royalties cutting into earnings?

Did anyone grab a cd after a show? I'm really curious to know the quality of the recordings. I cannot wait to get mine in the mail.

Based on some comments I got back from a rep at Abbey Road I am guessing it will be included. When I asked the question they basically stated that they can't control the set list.
