Actually, there was a fair amount of skepticism and speculation directed mainly at CT during the time frame from Live's demise and when we actually got to experience TGF. There were plenty who tried to temper CT's passion and honesty. Citing things like old blogs and tour diaries as examples of things that didn't live up to his promise. Or citing his post about what happened with Live and questioning the validity of his words. He was questioned in general quite a bit and the only arguments ever given were that there's two sides to every story or he's too emotional and passionate. These things were cited as reasons to be skeptical of CT and TGF. I remember it all too well. So yeah, I get what LR is saying.

I guess I just don't see the point in bringing it up or dragging it up again. I don't think any of the people who Luke was hinting at are going to post and say "yep I was wrong!", that's if they even read this.

I don't see anything wrong with his post. TGF is full of piss and vinegar and has a fuck you kind of attitude anyway. Even if there aren't active posters on here per se that were doubters, there are plenty that they are encountering and overcoming.

I recall those being reasons to not blindly follow Chad in terms of his spat with Ed. I don't recall anyone taking their skepticism of Chad "too far" in terms of TGF.

The point I've been trying to make anyhow, is that these same people are acting like the biggest "superfans" right now. Just saying that it's pretty annoying and pathetic that people wouldn't support CT and CG when all he was asking was for us to trust him and start to spread the word early.
