Wow! This is awesome news!!!

I wonder if the band is still cool w/ open audience recording ... Hope so. Imagine a good shot video mixed w/ this audio!!!

I plan on getting a few, for sure. Lets hope there is no mp3 compression involved for they money we're paying. I recently went to an Elton John show this past April, and he sold the show for $30 shipped afterwards, and it was 320kbps mp3s burned to CD. Kind of ripped off, even tho the quality was amazing.

Problem is so many shows and so little money (and current lack of work) is gonna make it hard choosing which show I want damnit, it's like a random choice!

Oh Hell Yeah!

P.S. I probably won't buy all of them - but I will buy a bunch of them. Which shows do you think will be the best ones to buy?!?!

It depends on how this company is mixing the show (on-the-fly). I would assume they will be using stage monitors combined w/ audience mics near the SBD. Or they could be using the board feed mixed w/ audience mics. Not too sure.

I would much prefer a 24 track board recording mixed LATER and not rushed on the fly and sold directly afterwards for $20. Sometimes, the quality can suffer, altho The Pixies did something like this in 2004 with InstantLive, and the shows sounded pretty good for how quick they were put together.

Either way, its exciting and I hope it doesnt deter the guys from allowing us to tape from the audience.

ps, I would expect the HOB shows or the Ventura show to sound the best. Those venues are better prepared for live recording.

I am sure the Washington state shows will be very good, as well as the LA area.....KM's mom is up in the northwest. I think she's attending the shows.

I went with the Seattle show. With CB being from there, there's got to be a energized crowd there & KM will be pumped to be there too.

I'm gonna nab that one too. Hometown shows are usually great.

Ya - to many shows to buy them all. I plan on buying one - hopefully the best one. I wish I had a copy of the Flint show - it would be cool to get the show you go to!

Also - can't wait for the B-Sides.
