Pearl Jam's new album simply blows Live's new album away. I much prefer Live as a band, but P Jam have just showed Live how to make a rock (and great) album.

SFBM is a good album. I do like it, but for anyone who quite likes P Jam, i suggest you go and buy it. Best album of the year so far for me. And considering Live just released an album, that kinda pisses me off sad.gif

I thought the two songs I heard from Pearl Jam's new album off of ITUNES were horrible. Given that I was sucker enough to buy Riot Act based on the single....I can do without Pearl Jam's newest crapfest. I Am Mine was at least an awesome song, World Wide Suicide is beyond awful. You can barely even understand the lyrics.

I hear you, mate... the new Pearl Jam is incredible. The "Live punch" is lacking from SFBM , although it is a "nice" album that has its moments. "Avocado" as the new PJ record is being called is by no means lacking any punch or "essence" of the band. I have been listening to both (with concerts coming up) but there is little comparison (for me) in terms of the new albums (or the concert experience)
