i'm really surprised that "nothing but love" isn't more peoples fav. to me, this song sounds so much like a LIVE song. to me, it sounds like an "i alone", "she", "show" type of song that LIVE was known for. i absolutely love how the song is low key and the builds to a higher volume right before the chorus... love it.

The thread you are looking for is buried in the off-topic board. Seek it out, you'll know which one it is.

As for now, lets not journey back there as I am appreciating gotigrz' contributions to the board.

yeah, i spoke out on my beliefs and how i was glad that ed had turned to Jesus. so, i was shunned. i probably came across w/ my words the wrong way, but my overall intentions were to show my gratefulness of ed's conversion... not, to argue w/ non believers.. anyway, i'm not trying to strike that subject up again...

i'm just here to say that i'm a fan of TGF...

Just wanted to add that no matter how much I listen, I can't even begin to like TROY or Silly Thing. /They don't fit on this album in my opinion and I have no love for them watsoever. They both remind me of songs 311 or Matchbox 20 might have made and I really dislike both of those bands.

Sorry to anybody who likes those two songs, but I just feel they detract from this album quite severely. They change the flow in a negative poppy kind of way and just don't fit to me.

I think TROY is my fav...god I love it. I love the whole album but TROY grabs me by the throat and I almost can't breath...yeah, I'm a girl...

And, you will hate this but I think it could have been done by Maroon 5 lol.gif But Kev does it best.

wow, TROY and Silly Thing are two of my favourites. ive always been more partial to pop rock, lighter sunday driving to the beach kinda music. i dont like sing though and i cant explain why it just annoys me. One thing is for sure, this album is pretty damn special. Ive found myself even avoidiung listening to it for a couple of days out of fear of getting tired of it. Lol

I can't believe it has come to this but one song has taken over as my favorite on this album. After hearing it in concert, I have a HUGE new appreciation for it.

1. Guilty Fever
2. Sing
3. Honest Man
4. Closer
5. Appetite

TROY and Silly thing remind me of songs that would fit into BOP from Live and no offense, but I didn't like that music. Heaven was decent, but the rest of the album sucked monkey cock IMO. After listening a LOT, I skip those two songs every time and find that they have no place on this album whatsoever. IMO, after listening to the rest of the album, those two songs are utterly embarassing to listen to.

I also don't understand the love for Crying Time neither. I thinks it's an ok tune, but What's Wrong and Sing are both ten times better. I'd rank the entire album like this.

1. Guilty Fever
2. Sing
3. Honest Man
4. Appetite
5. Closer
6. All I Hear
7. Tredecim
8. The Few
9. What's Wrong
10. Nothing But Love
11. Crying Time
12. Silly Thing
13. TROY

Most of the songs give me goose bumps but I have to say Crying Time is my favourite. I love the solo.
