I don't agree with the notion presented by the opinion you quoted but I'll provide the counter argument as I understand it.

I have a much shorter counter argument. Exist, you are NOT rich enough to be targeted in my statement. I intend to target the owners of multinational corporations. Very rarely do they get rich doing something ethical. You, on the other hand, are doing something very ethical.

Yeah I know what you mean. I've been a veggie most of my life and was a vegan for two years and during that time I was exposed alot to that sort of person. I didn't like it. I found that these people were so madly involved with animal rights that they themselves were ignorant, snobbish and sometimes unpleasant. I didn't want to be associated with that and it was one of the factors for me reverting back to just being a veggie. Anyway, I don't try to lecture people, I just do my own thing and if that influences anyone else to do the same, then that's cool

I'm sure we all hold a few opinions that go against the popular grind. Here are a few of mine.

1. The Dark Knight was very overrated, and Heath Ledger's joker was over-hyped and somewhat annoying.
2. Avatar was not as spectacular as people like to think - it was in fact quite bland and forgettable.
3. Tomato Ketchup is a crap condiment that ruins meals.
4. The Beatles music isn't all that interesting. Fuck 'em.
5. Two and a Half Men isn't THAT good at all.
