Live - Forever May Not Be Long Enough
4:3 DVD (VOB format) - 16:9 letterbox
Size: 195 megabytes
Length: 4 minutes 1 second

Here is a video clip for 'Forever May Not Be Long Enough', that was featured on the 'Mummy Returns' DVD. This is a direct rip from the DVD and no-encoding has been performed.

Unfortunately, the video is 4:3 (16:9) letterbox, so even if you have a widescreen TV there will be black bars on the top, bottom, left and right. I recently took a look at the 'Mummy Returns' Blu-Ray and the video clip was also letterboxed. sad.gif

You can download it from here:

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?umw5nz0wzii
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?j3gkzbk4wmi

How to play:

1. Download both files
2. Use WinRAR to unzip the files. To do this, right click on any one of the files and select "Extract Here"
3. Burn VIDEO_TS folder to a DVD
(alternatively, you can use VLC or PowerDVD to play the DVD from your computer)

Thanks for sharing this Daniel. I actually have the DVD, but it's still in Denmark. Had to import it from somewhere, because the Danish version is only a 1-disc release, without real extras. (The one with FMNBLE is two disc as far as I remember... right?) Never got around to ripping it from there though :-)

Thanks man!

I remember how much Live said they hated the movie.
I went to see it with some archaeologist friends of mine: they loved it! I enjoyed it thoroughly myself, but I can see where you had to be in a certain frame of mind to enjoy it.

It looks like its a bit fuller than widescreen (i.e., you might lose some picture to actually get it to 16:9). I can take a look at it later. If it is truly 16:9 or wider I can crop it and do a good multipass recode with virtualdub and CCE (making it truly anamorphic). It would look a lot better on widescreen TVs. If anyone is interested...

Yeah, you're right. If you crop it to 16:9, you will lose a little bit at the top and bottom of the picture. I wonder why such a strange aspect ratio was used...

I dont know. weird aspect ratios like this are often shot for films with open matting in mind - basically shooting something fuller or in between a 4:3 release and 16:9 (or wider) so that they can crop both a little either way for both full and widescreen releases. I doubt that was the original intention here though.

Chad T can complain as much as he want on how 'styled' and stuff they looked on 'V' and that he had to loose so much weight, but I gotta say, Chad looks the coolest in the V-era videos

I always thought he was better looking than Ed. I loved everything about Ed but did not find him attractive.

Chad was a fox back then, but he's a cutie now too.
