COMPLETELY!

I think a full show of acoustic songs would be boring as f*ck, don't you think? Yes, Ed can be amazing when he plays solo with only his guitar. But after some songs you just want some more music behind his voice. A full gig of acoustic songs would be boring. The performance with his band is not.

Full acoustic concerts are awesome! So are full band shows. I like a mixture of both.

Solo acoustic shows are boring. Do a full band acoustic show and then you're on to something!

Aaron Lewis solo acoustic is an amazing show. Of course, he also allows for audience participation, and will play requests. That's a pretty amazing part of his shows actually, to hear him go from playing Tool's "Sober" to Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl".

He'll also have some fun. He'll do his best Kermit the Frog voice and play "Rainbow Connection. At the show I went to see, someone yelled "With Arms Wide Open", and he proceeded to do an amazing Scott Stapp impersonation, which completely made fun of Scott's horrible singing style.

Here's a good link to Rainbow Connection...

I attended the Open Wings Broken Strings show last night in Wilmington, and after seeing Ed perform acoustically again (this time with an incredibly attractive female playing some sort of box (that she sat on) as a percussion instrument), I can honestly say that Ed - acoustics - is AWESOME. What a great show last night. Just Ed's voice, his guitar and some of the great Live tunes. It is magic.

I think I prefer Ed singing Live songs acoustically rather than with a band that's been rushed together and that just doesn't have the chemistry that Live had.

I saw the Aaron Lewis acoustic show a few years back and it was amazing. Such a variety of songs.
