without a doubt, for me it's Lakini's Juice. i still get chills everytime i listen to this song...the same chills i felt the very first time i heard this, when it was premiered on the radio in this area...then i saw the video and that just sealed the deal. i would pay full ticket price just to hear them do this song in concert...that's it...just play Lakini's Juice for me and then i'd leave and be happy!

I gots to agree with Chookie. I heard Lakini on the radio today and it was like the old days. I love, love love that song! But I feel the same way about Selling the Drama, too. So it would be hard for me to pick between the 2 of them. That was the song that smacked me upside the head and made me a Live fan 12 years ago! I still remember how it made me feel.

Hell yeah I voted Lakinis Juice eventhough I have not heard it on the radio since 12/99. Surprised All Over You did not get any votes even though by radio standards it was their 2nd biggest song (statistcally)

I mistakenly voted for PLOTR (great song, btw) because I didn't notice the 'other' option.

Iris is my 'other' vote. thumbsup.gif

Lightning Crashes for me too even though i don't listen to it as much but it was the first Live song i heard that really separated this band from the rest for me. It said it all that this band would not typically be one of those bands focused only on romantic themes.
The Lyrics and the vocals ( the rawness of it) just grabbed me and from then i was a total Live junkie. A fan for life!

I voted for the Beauty of Gray for one reason.

To me, Live was a band that had some pretty strong messages and themes to their music. I loved that about them from the get go. They had balls and weren't afraid to sing about religious themes, songs about love on a different level and in this case, racism.

I find it ultimately clever and riveting for that reason. Never mind that such great lyrics were written and sung by a 19 year old. It set the stage for them to be a band with a message, a band with the balls to put it out there knowing it would draw ridicule. That song completely defines what this band was to me.

Until V hit and then it all went to shit. surrender.gif

I hear you bro, well said! Also I nod.gif about V. laugh.gif that album is just funny to me with Ed trying to rap and all. And shhhhhh, dont tell anyone, but that album is a guilty pleasure for me & it's on my mp3 right now "People like you, mothafuckers like you, in a dream I had" that's just a funny song man

This thread keeps showing up when I press the "view new posts" button, even though there aren't any new posts in it.

Something really wants me to post in this thread again.

If a thread is a poll, it will show it having "new posts" as long as someone has added a vote to the poll. It doesn't have to have an actual new post in order to show up.

even though Heaven got me into Live, and Lightning Crashes made Live my favorite band(dont ask)
Turn My Head is the song for me. It just speaks to me on a whole different level compared to their other songs, i dont know why.

Oh hell. There are so many songs that I could choose. If Live stopped making music, I doubt I will just remember one defining song that they created. However, for the point of this poll I chose ghost. Ghost was the defining song off of Secret Samadhi, which was my favorite album. Lakini Juice came in 2nd.

I'm curious, is that a pancake the ( rabbit / guinea pig? ) has on it's head? And is he your pet? He's so cute.
