I'm kinda exhausted, but I just wanted to post a quick review of the show last night. The concert was AWESOME!!! Highlights of the night was Honest Man (the electric version blew my mind), Crying Time, and the "Little Richard" version of Nothing But Love from the Front Porch part of the show.

The only thing I was disappointed with was the crowd. I'm not very good at estimating a size of the crowd but I would say there was roughly 100 people there (maybe a little more). Only about 6 rows of people at the stage and the rest of the crowd was sitting down at the tables set up for dinner at the State Theater. But I'm probably most disappointed in the energy of the crowd. They seemed to be more into the show in the beginning and their energy got less and less as the concert went on. That wasn't the fault of the band or anything, as they were really good...but it was just one of those shows that no matter how good the band was, the audience wasn't.

I agree the set up in that place was retarded! I guess you have to expect a tame crowd when the majority of them are sitting at tables. Personally I can't imagine how that was possible during songs like Honest Man but whatever. They sounded amazing, their energy was great and I loved, loved, loved that whole front porch thing. My god that version of Nothing But Love was phenomenal!

I saw them for the first time at Fat Daddy's and thought my mind was blown then but last night they were even better! Kevin is just so fucking good! I can't get over that man's voice. Sean is great too. I love to see him and Taylor play off one another. I'm just so happy to see the guys doing what they love and to see how obvious that is on all of their faces when they are up there on stage!

Got a quick picture with Kevin after the show. He is really awesome to his fans. All of the guys were out at the merch booth after the show signing things and posing for pics. It was really a nice thing to see. We also ran into the guys at the restaurant across the street before the show and waved a hello. Rumor had they were headed over there for kareoke after the show. If I wasn't so exhausted I would have headed over to check that out!

The thing I didn't understand was there was still A LOT of room near the stage but many people decided to sit at the tables. The least they could have done was clap after the songs and sometimes they barely did that. Oh well...what can you do? I still had a great time.

I liked Kevins intro of "Rabbi" Patrick Dalheimer. lol.gif

Would have loved to see them do Karaoke but I was so tired last night I didn't even stay after the show to meet them.

Meet the band
Talk to them
Get stuff signed and a pic or two
See them smash karaoke

How can one be THAT tired? smile.gif

haha...I was feeling sick most of the day plus I already drove 3 hours. I also didn't want to be the responsible for getting the band sick causing the cancellation of their tour dates tongue.gif

I bet they would not cancel a date even if one of them lost mind.

PS offtopping: buds, consider getting avatars, please. It sometimes is SO hard to learn who's who without them...
