Ya, the turn out did suck. When I talked to CT during the opener I mentioned/apologized for the shitty turn out. I could not believe how he just said "we gonna rock" "its gonna rock" and so on. Fuck! the man just made me believe, and they fucking rocked. And I hope I did my part. Nothing mattered to them when they were on stage and nothing mattered to me when watching them on stage. It was all about the music.

The way it should be! It should be about the music, all the other shit around isn't what it's about; people with dollar signs in their eyes have made it to be.

I think it's incredible and unbelievable that they put on SUCH an amazing show, while there were no more than 50 people. Can you imagine, they used to play for thousands of people, and yet they rock it out. I can only hope for them that they become huge, simply cos they are a bunch of amazing people, who deserve it.

It's pretty easy to download the videos yourself.

If you are running Firefox, install the DownloadHelper extension then go to YouTube and start playing the video. Change the 'quality' setting on the YouTube video from 320p to 720p. In your Firefox toolbar you will see an icon that looks like 3 spinning balls. Click on the little arrow adjacent to it and you will see a filename with an .mp4 extension. Select it and then download it to your computer.

I didn't get any response. I took the time to write a nice letter too..he probably just looked at it for 10 seconds, and then went onto something else lol.

I should start my own radio station...I'd play only good music lol.

Radio stations, and the people there who make the decisions as to what to play, suck. I just don't know how else to put it.

On the subject of radio stations and Toronto, Jason Barr is doing a radio duo with Chris Biggs (of Virgin)...They are calling themselves The Biggs and Barr Show..

I'm still ticked at 102.1 for letting Jason Barr go, and the fact that they constantly play the same indie/hipster/boring music every waking moment.

For those of you who are interested in keeping up with the new radio commentator duo, check it out:

http://www.youtube.com/user/BiggsAndBarr

Wherever radio show they go to, request some TGF and they will more likely play it lol.

QUOTE(musicfanatic @ Sep 26 2010, 12:02 pm) *
Hello LIVE/TGF/Candlebox fans!

I was at last night's show in Toronto...I must say it was FANTASTIC!!!!! There were only about 40 people (max) that were there to see the show. I've been to many, many concerts, and I must say, this concert was one of those hidden gems in the city that not many people know about.

I met janine5683 at the concert, and she recommended me to join this forum and post my videos here. I'm a long time LIVE fan, and first time poster...

I have the majority of the concert recorded, with exception to a few songs (I took photos and wanted to give my arms a break)...Despite some songs omitted, I hope you enjoy the concert as much as I did. It was a very LOUD concert, and the recording picked up the majority of the sound..However, during a couple songs Kevin's voice sounds somewhat quiet due to the overdriving guitars and bass. I assure you all that Kevin sings beautifully.

I loved talking with the band after the show. I got photos from all of them, and I loved listening to Chad Taylor talk about this travels in Canada (especially in Kitchener)...If it wasn't for that douchebag security guard, CT could talk all day. He's the kind of guy that you could sit down with a beer and listen for hours. It's unfortunate that security was being pushy.

For any vinyl record fans in here, I talked to Kevin Martin after the show and he did say a vinyl record is in the works, and it will be a special edition of some sort. (I love my vinyl records - TGF would sound amazing on vinyl)

Due to the fact that I have A LOT of videos, I will post a couple videos on here, and my link to my YouTube page where the rest of the videos will be. I am still uploading them as I type this, and YouTube is slow right now. Please be patient as more videos upload.

I certainly hope that this band continues to grow and flourish. It can only get better and better.

Cheers. smile.gif

Oh yea great footage. The moment they were all up (which I think was within a day or so) me and one of the buddies that went with me watched this sick show all over again on his couch with a bottle of vodka. We were still hyped up from the show.

You know you are watching great performers playing great music when even a measly turnout meant nothing to those of us right at the stage and the musicians on the stage. Talk about feeding off of each others energy to have a good time!
