I didn't even know that the song was added until yesterday. The song isn't an official single, but the webmaster of Alt Addiction added it to the single chart because he was a fan.

I wonder what the next single will be. I think 'Stand' would be a good choice.

I think Ed hinted to TGB in one of the interviews, but I'm not sure.

Stand would at least had a little impact, I think most of the other songs would go quite unnoticed on the radio.

Ya, there's an interview somewhere when he states The Great Beyond would be next.

Oh, that's right I forgot he mentioned TGB as a single (I even posted the article lol.gif )

I'm not good at predicting singles or anything but as for Alive, I think Zion would be a solid choice along with Stand. Although it's not my favorite song on the album, Drink might get some airplay. That's received a great reaction at both shows I've been to, including my friend who never heard the song before. She loved it. Plus, that song typically gets a positive mention even in negative reviews.

I would pick Drink in the US. The Alternative Addiction webmaster really loves the song, and I've heard others really take to it as well.

The Great Beyond should be released in Europe in conjunction with the "Killing Bono" movie.

I just don't see 'Drink' getting any airplay whatsoever in the rock format, so if that does get released he should try for different radio genres (i.e. Pop, Adult Alternative, etc.)

Hot A/C, Triple A, Christian A/C.

I think 'Grace' should have been tried on those formats. Might have been more successful.

I got word that a second single should be announced soon. The actual track is under wraps, but we should all know soon.

I would have liked to see Grace on Triple A.

After the way Grace performed domestically, you can expect them to spend like $0 pushing it in the states.

I can see them pushing the song around the second leg of tour dates. It worked well for Grace over the summer.

I would bet that not much money was spent on Grace in the US either.

There is really nothing on the album that is single material so why bother? If Drink is getting some chart action then might as well go with that but I would be embarrased to ever claim that was the lead singer of LIVE singing that song. It would be my secret to anyone I knew. If I had to pick I would think Drive or Stand are the only songs other than Grace that have a shot of getting a few weeks airplay. If he picks TGB which I actually kind of like it will fail on the radio.

Fire on the Mountain may do okay on Triple A or Christian AC. It is my personal fav as well.

Go with Zion. Even if it isn't the most single worthy track it's the least cringe worthy and embarrassing song on the album. Throwing Drink out there to the masses seems like suicide. At least save SOME face, Ed. Come on!
