Funnily enough, at that point, there was a LIVE song(I Alone) playing inside.

That is a pretty funny coincidence within itself.

Yeah, they sat down and played a kinda of acoustic, completely blues style version of Honest Man and Nothing But Love and that other tune. Sounded utterly amazing.

Then they got back up and turned everything back up full volume and played everything the way they started, with that kick you in the face driving, in your face rock smack down.

I'm at a loss for words to explain how ggod this show actually was. Quite possibly, the single best concert I've EVER seen and maybe the best I ever will see.

Yeah Nick, it was strange. Security dude looked embarassed when I told him that the guy he was just harassing was the guitarist from Live. Told him he needed to show some respect and he didn't say much. Chad was only saying to the guy to take it easy and let people have a good time and the guy got downright ignorant and pushy.

I think he thought Chad was some nobody and when he realized he was from Live, the look on his face was priceless and he settled right down instantly. Then Chad came out and patted him on the arm and told him to have a great night and as Chad was going down the stair the security guy yells that if he touches him again, "he'd break his fucking arms!" I laughed and told him I'd love to see him try. There were about 20 of us outside standing right there and about 20 or so from the band that would've kicked the fucking piss out of him if he even made a move towards Chad.

It's too bad because Chad was being a complete gentleman the entire time. He was talking and hugging every single fan who wanted. He wasn't rude to security at all. I just hope that some idiot like that won't prevent this band from coming back to play here again.

All is well though, because I can pretty much guarantee you that by the end of the week, that guy won't be working for that club anymore. Threatening and bullying guys who played a show at your club is pretty sad and pathetic. I was literally standing 5 feet away and all Chad said was for the guy to take it easy and let people have a good time. Because the guy was literally yelling at people to get the fuck out of the way so that the guys could get the equipment out. It's one thing to ask people to exit the path to make way, but this guy was being excessively belligerent and aggressive.

It looked good on him when I told him who CT was. He knew he'd put his foot in his mouth big time.

Agree with both of these. Chad was absolutely lovely and the show was absolutely amazing. It's all I can think about all day! Definitely one of, if not THE, highlight of this year for me.

Damn, guys. thank you VERY VERY much for the videos and reviews. Could both of you, Fannatic and Janine be that kind and upload all the files you have zipped to some rapidshare or mediafire? I would cherish them!

Thank again, feels like I was at that gig.

You know, when I read that there were 40 or so people I was like WTF at first, but then again I remembered that they were only a new upcoming band, probably not yet meaning to anyone in the world as much as they do to us...

If they ever come to my city, I will host them in my 1 room flat and feed them and get everything they want. anything.

Damn, I am so in love with this band.

My gal just came back from her trip to see her mom in another town and now we are jamming here together, to the DM cover (as we both are pretty big DM fans and actually met at a DM board and got together).

She screams that TGF rock

I could not agree more.

Seriously, my mind is still blown.

This summer I've seen Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Dream Theatre, Cinderella, Megadeth and Slayer and last night's show is by far my favourite.

I read one of Chad G's responses and he says see you in march to a guy from Toronto...they announce their spring dates yet anywhere?

When I had my picture taken with Chad Taylor, it was at that point that security guy was starting to get annoying. I told Chad I hopefully didn't take too much of his time chatting and getting a photo taken..He wasn't inconvenienced at all (as he is enjoying himself), but was concerned with the security guard.

I left to go outside to see PD and some fans in the patio/smokers section. Within about 30 seconds, I heard F bombs and a heated argument between CT and security guard/Jersey Shore cast reject.

I would've been happy to kick the crap out of that security guard. I have worked in security, and pushing someone out is usually warranted by a physical threat from that other person, or bad behaviour....Chad T was an absolute gentleman the whole night, and that verbal abuse wasn't warranted.

I completely understand when the venue needs people cleared, but the guard could have just redirected people to the outdoor patio.

Speaking of Chad T, that trucker look he's sporting was pretty cool. It fits nicely with the swampy blues acoustic stuff they were playing last night.
