Maybe it was a hot-headed emotional post or I took it the wrong way, but it made me seriously reevaluate what the hell I'm doing here and how much time I'm spending around here.

Hey Fish, I don't think I've ever written to you specifically, but I felt the need to here. I honestly understand and respect what you've said about spending time around here. Hell, I feel the same way sometimes! Frankly, sometimes I find myself reading the board and saying to myself, "I would be embarrassed if someone saw what I was doing!" But as was stated earlier by another fine post, all of us on this board are bound by a true love of a band that actually changed our lives. That's what incites so much anger at Ed, the break-up, the bad music near the end of their career, etc. I am just happy to see some positivity regarding actual new music coming from the guys we respect and love.

I've been more of a "lurker" (god that sounds like a creepy word) on this board for several years. You can bet your ass that I am one of the most devoted Live fans you will ever meet - but I generally pick and choose when I want to say something. I do appreciate all those that actually do post fairly often because if it weren't for you guys, I really wouldn't be coming here! (I'm certainly not coming here for Nick!)

Anyway, just thought I'd tell you to do what makes you feel right, and just know that no one wants to see you go for good. Pick and choose where you want to interject your great posts and we will all benefit. Rock on

First and foremost I would like to apologize for being sarcastic about a small interview comment. It was unecessary.

I would also like to apologize for any misunderstandings that I had about your statement to the message board and for the back and forth that occured. I'm sure it's not how you want to spend your time.

I do respect your musical talent and the thought that you put into your music. I wish you and your new bandmates the best!

Wow .. This thread is crazy. And hopefully the last I'll ever have to hear from that complete idiot Nick as I just worked out the ignore thing. Nick you areabsolutely deluded to the point where I'm thinking Ex's old assessment of a mental illness/some kind of mental obsession is about spot on. Kevin, I'll take a more honest approach than Bre and say that yeah, Nick's the bad apple. But, don't let that asshole ruin the bunch. We'd love for you to stick around and talk more often. As for your voice, I think Luke said it best a week or two ago when he said something like, if anyone thinks his voice is no good, try singing it yourself and you'll sound like an American Idol tryout reject. Too true. Thanks for your efforts, for TGF, and for us old school Live fans, for helping CC&P's vision of writing real rock n roll again come to fruition.

Not everybody is going to like everybodys voice. I happen to love Kevins voice, and don't give a fuck if he knows it, posts about it, likes it or dislikes it. I like it. It is my personal choice, just as it is any of yours to dislike it.

I'm just tired, yes, even I AM tired of the shit slinging around here when it comes to all parties involved. I made up my mind that I think Ed is a thieving cocksucker and I've decided to leave it at that. I'm not visiting his side of the board at all anymore with any negativity whatsoever. Those people are entitled to like and listen to Ed if that's what they choose.

I've chosen to support TGF because I feel they are real men, great musicians and above all else, respectable human beings. I've supported them by buying their merch, their music and by going to see them at a few upcoming shows.
