I understand why you would interpret it this way, but given the title of the thread and the subsequent posts it really looks quite negative. It branched off another thread, but that was never really mentioned and only alluded to.

That combined with the people on the thread who really DID say negative things about the interview, then well, there you go.

Whether I agree with the approach or not is an entirely other issue, but I can't fault him for speaking his mind. You can call him "thin-skinned" if you want, but in the end we all assume that people in public positions should be able to withstand ANY criticism. It is a free pass to shit on them. That is unfair to them as human beings.

If Ed himself had come on ANY threads about the lawsuit or his music and posted something like this, he would have earned a new level of respect from me.

Lastly, with the part you quoted, doesn't it prove his point that some have come on here and called him an "asshole," "egomaniac," etc. etc. Those responses proved his point entirely.

It is easy to forget this - and it happens far too often.

It might not be a stretch to imagine that he was responding to those kinds of things leading up to the pages he probably read.

I "leaked" the court documents by doing a google search after someone else mentioned it had been filed. I don't remember anything about "leaking" the pairing with Kevin.

I believe the day Nick realized he could get under people's skin was the day his destiny on this board was set. In his mind he became a legend-the center of attention. There's a simple solution to this and that is to quit enabling and ignore him. It's my opinion, though that many on this board appreciate a good joust with the Legend himself, so my guess is the current trend will continue. If that's the case there will be sad mishaps with those we admire like the one illustrated in this thread-what a waste of mental energy. I choose to promote and follow a new kick ass band that makes this 45 year old feel 16 again. It's certainly putting a hit on the ole wallet-to the tune of (6) cd's, (4) concert tickets and (2) t-shirts. As for all the other, I may be wrong since I'm a newbie and I'm slowly weeding through all the intricacies of this forum. I'll say this, there's never a dull moment!

This is very accurate, plus he tried to infiltrate the TGFPromoPage and was accidentally friended in by the band......despite what he says "I was there to get info about TGF, not malicious".....nothing can be further from the truth!!!! He was bounced like rubber ball in no time.
