i dont know why people are so concerned with "professional" reviews. I can collect 50 mainstream reviews right now for Throwing Copper and they are lukewarm to say the least. Some things arent appreciated until a decade later. like the big lebowski.

Actually the second review was found by another member, but she was afraid to post it(due to the Gracious backlash).

Okay let me get this straight. When one of us writes a post that trashes Ed or responds to a negative post about TGF, it is a "Gracious backlash," but when you write a post to trash TGF or to defend Ed then it is okay?

That is some double standard you are working on, and by the way, none of us believe this post.

Some people need outside validation to form or justify their own opinions.

I only find them useful if I'd like more information about a product.

At the same time - so is everyone else who did the same thing a few months ago when Ed's album was released (including myself).

Now that all the release anticipation is over hopefully everyone can move on enjoying what Live are doing. They're all happy - we should be too.

People who gave Ed's album garbage due to chart position and reviews, had to know that the same was going to come TGF's way only two months later.

I actually posted the only media reviews that I could find on TGF. Unlike other fans, I didn't create a separate thread for every negative TGF review that I found.

I don't think you understand your rep on this board. If anyone posts negative reviews they would just be putting up a post, but you are the exception to this.

Anyone here, but you, can post a negative review of this album because of said rep. Yes - you can physically post it - but it just looks bad on your part and brings more bad karma your way.

You've been openly 100% pro Ed and 100% against the band from day one. In fact, I really think your attitude between the two groups has actually flamed some peoples hatred for Ed that may not have existed otherwise.

When you post those reviews you know it gives everyone the impression you are trying to start shit - and that's all based on the history you created.

Not from day one. I turned against TGF once I read all their nasty twitter comments and mass emails aimed at destroying Ed's credibility with fans. They played dirty politics and it looks like it has backfired on them in a big way.

I posted that TGF didn't chart overseas and some unfavorable reviews. I am pretty sure Ed received the same flack from this board. For a while it was impossible to post a positive comment about Ed without receiving 5 negative in return with the intention of ruining a thread. It is all an even playing field.

I just wanted to see what they were doing over there. I'm always up for finding different ideas regarding promotion. I wasn't out to sabotage.
