QUOTE(Nobody Knows @ Sep 19 2010, 2:00 pm) *

Then enlighten us on the real context.

While the formation of super group The Gracious Few featuring Candlebox lead singer Kevin Martin along with Live guitarist Chad Taylor, bassist Patrick Dahlheimer and drummer Chad Gracey may sound like it was a new concept, Kevin Martin says that the idea of collaborating with the members of Live had been kicked around for years with drummer Chad Gracey, who’s a longtime friend of Martin’s.

Pat D is on record (Fox 43) Interview saying he's heard folks use this term, and he's like 'he thinks its a bit of a stretch'.

Anyway keep shitting on my front lawn Nick. Have you noticed I've let up on the Ed garbage?

Gollum, you're missing the entire point here. See, TGF, is actually using quotes that were made about them, and this album. Ed's using quotes from Throwing Copper and the band Live, and rearranging the words and making them work for Alive and his current solo gig. That's where the problem is.

AItkens, very good point. Perfect example is the hijacked 1995 rolling stone quote use for the Alive CD sticker.

I'm guessing Ed isn't the only one who uses quotes out of context. Either way, very lame.

lame? LAME?? The fact alone that they chose - out of all the 5 different LIVE logo's- the SS one, is enough to make this poster awesome smile.gif

I think the term "Super Group" is applied by definition. Which is, according to wikipedia: "a rock music group whose performers are already famous from having performed individually or in other groups."

Damn, beat me to it.

Audioslave was a supergroup. Velvet Revolver as well.

Mother Love Bone was more of a post-super group as they all grew faous later, I figure.

Anyway, on other points, 100% true

Your constant negativity is draining. I would think that it drains you as well, but you're obviously the type of person that thrives on negativity. Just sad. You must be a real joy to be around in life. Seriously dude, ENOUGH, don't you have a phone call to pay for or a pendant to shove up your ass...or a therapy appointment to make.

Hate to disrupt this exhiliarating, never ending bickering with SNJ, but I've got tickets to the Indianapolis show on Nov. 11. I can give logistics or help with info on the venue for anyone else possibly coming to this show. Reply or email me as needed.

Are you really comparing a poster made by a record store to the sticker on the cover an album?

At least that AA article was about TGF and not Live.

There is such a world of difference here that it was staggering of you to try. Bravo.

It seems youre the only one jagging off over a Live reunion. Must be that you can't stand the Ed solo shows anymore and tired of the same old legacy act? lol.gif

No... As a TGF fan I can plainly see that there will be a reunion tour and await it. It will happen. Ed might suck balls but we are fans of LIVE and I question your fan-ness if you don't support a re-unification of the band.
