There are more soccer fans than you would think. What hurts is that the sports media looks at it with such disdain here, one has to do some searching for good sources of news.

I do not go there lately.

And the chances are very much close to ZERO because we do not have enough spacy stadiums and the police will hardly cope with the worldwide maddness of the champ...

...but hey... the SA did cope with that...

Amazing how it has coincided with a return to form of a certain Andreiy Arshavin at Arsenal. He is much happier now his former club has won it, as it seemed he was devastated when Russia failed to reach the World Cup.
