At this current moment I haven't properly been able to digest and take in all the songs. So baring that in mind, right now... it's a toss up between Honest Man and Tredecim. I wish the Honest Man solo flew off the handle a little more, and that would probably have sealed the deal.

Wife just mentioned to me that her outright favorite is what's wrong. That song caught me way back as well. An absolutely amazing song with raw feeling and emotion. This album has something for all, fast and slow.

TOLD YOU FUCKERS!! shrug.gif

What's wrong was the tune I said way back I thought had a Beatles influence to it. WOW, does it ever.

"are we so broken and bruised, we can't feel the love"

I've liked 'What's Wrong' from the first time I heard it in a sample; great song.

'Album fillers' - for the lack of a better word - T.R.O.Y and Silly Thing are really growing on me.

Trecidim is tied with sing... I gave the point to sing though.

The rest of you deserves honorable mention.

Look at the votes. Every song but What's Wrong and All I Hear have at least one vote for favorite song on the album. That tells you everything you need to know about the album.

After listening to everything a few times I'd probably rank the songs like this:

Tier 1: Closer, Honest Man, What's Wrong, Tredicim
Tier 2: The Few, Appetite
Tier 3: Nothin' But Love, Crying Time
Tier 4: TROY, Guilty Fever, Sing, All I Hear, Silly Thing

It kinda looks like I might just be starved from something heavy from these guys, but I am loving What's Wrong too.

The Few would move up if it had a better chorus in my opinion, but the rest of the song is awesome.

Crying Time is overrated. It's okay, nothing special.

Tier 4, with the exception of Guilty Fever, all seem like they could have been taken off BOP. That's not necessarily a terrible thing, but the lyrics seem kinda cheesy.

Overall, it's better than I expected. While I find some of the songs weaker, I still catch myself singing them in my head even when not listening to the album. I thought I'd find KM's vocals annoying but the dropoff from the best that could be expected out of Ed nowadays isn't much and in some spots KM kicks ass.

Can't wait for the next album.

It's still Appetite for me, but Closer is coming on strong. And well there's The Few, and T.R.O.Y, and.....oh fuck, this is hopeless, isn't it?

I might have to change my vote to All I Hear. That song's really growing on me.

Hi gang,

New member here. I've spun the CD 5 or 6 times now. It is ROCK SOLID so it's hard to pick a fav. I'm partial to Closer, Nothing But Love, Tredecim, Appetite for various reasons. But I picked Honest Man because I feel this is their signature song, their anthem so to speak. Its got all the elements I enjoy including monster guitars playing off of each other with a heavy rhythm section-plus the subject matter applies in these tough times. Regardless, IT'S ALL GOOD!

Later,

Indy

I was just wondering why 'Tredecim' and 'Nothing but love' are switched on this chart compared to the album track listing. All other songs are in the proper order except for those two.

And I actually can't believe that 'All I hear' currently has zero votes!

Hmmm, I'm assuming you mean me. Nothing like getting hazed on my 1st day. Old habit from other boards. Regardless, I'll take my lumps if I must.

Lat.... Whoops
