*crickets*

Has anyone noticed how the TGF forum is BOOMING with energy and interest while the Ed side of things is as dead as... well Live when he ran it (into the ground)?

You do realize that TGF album just came out yesterday. When Ed's album, there was a lot more activity on this forum (whether good or bad) than TGF forum. That's gonna happen.

Good deal. I ordered more last night. Amazon seems to have the most stock.

I dunno if its the same amount of discussion or whatever, but I know that the quality of discussion about the TGF release is better. Most of the posts about Alive were trying to find the 2,000 bonus tracks.

True that Funky!!! Complaints bout multiple versions, how substandard the songs were and the like.

The TGF music is top notch.

because there are not many regulars at these boards, and the majority hate ed and are tgf nuts, and the tgf album just came out.

The regulars here are all huge fans of Live first and foremost, that must be considered. This makes it sound like this board started as a TGF board and we have been bashing on Ed since 2001.

Funky's right on the money. We are only speaking our minds and heart over band's dissolving and why.

"Only speaking our minds and heart over the band's dissolving" is not even what Funky or I are talking about. Funkys response to my comment seems irrelevant. How does Sinfuls question lead to a more conclusive observation if a small sample of posters, of which TGF fans are the majority, started off as TGF fans bashing Ed since 2001 or not?

This interview was nothing special - Ed just talks about the album, totally dodges the breakup issue, the inspiration behind The Distance to Here, How he writes songs. General stuff.
FYI: This interview was conducted in or around July 15, 2010.
