I don't like it at all. I think the music is passionate, but the vocals sound like 5th rate Robert Plant IMO. Just my views. As far as Ed's album, I'm not really interested. I may not know what happened between the boys, but for someone who sings about love, faith and spirituality so much, it's seems he didn't have a lot of that for his brothers... I couldn't listen to his music with the same conviction I used to...

Just had a listen through and, sadly, I'm not as gripped by it as I wanted to be. That said, I absolutely can't say a word against any of it. Unlike some albums where you can talk about genuinely poor lyrics or bland craftsmanship, I didn't get any of that here. It's a decent, proper album; but it just didn't pull me in first time round. It's not you, it's me. That kind of thing. Never fear, however; for there have been plenty of albums that have taken a while to grow on me, and I do fully intended on spinning this many times more.

Finally, you can dislike Martin's vocals all you want, but you cannot take away the fact that he IS a skilled singer with fantastic range. Stop kidding yourselves and thinking personally disliking something makes it objectively poor. That's not how the world works, kids.

Does anyone else think that Sing has a 311 vibe to it?

Some of it, yea, but it is more of the reggae vibe 311 has everywhere and a slight taste of it in Sing

I am on the road, but yes, next time I'll pop in that store and ask.

I think it was fitting that I heard Appetite..........I've been hungry for this CD for over 10 years.

I think its ironic that TGF made their music for themselves and their fans and yet they have possible singles all through the album and Ed does nothing but try to makes radio friendly single songs and his whole album sucks a big one to where there was only one song single worthy in Grace and even that song is bland!

I think this TGF album is shedding some light on how Ed was NOT Live by himself afterall!
