EDIT: I just got off the phone with a friend of mine and he was all raving about this Breaking Benjamin song "Lights Out".

I fucking hate that radio crap too but I actually think that BB song is halfway listenable in a juvenile way. Are you a Phoenix resident? I recall KUPD is the station for that right? haha

Tough question, the good tracks stand out about the same amount. Depends on the mood

"this phoenix rises up from the ground
and all these wars are over"

haha No, I've never even been to Arizona. I got my nickname from that line in "Dolphin's Cry".

As to the BB song... I like the tone of their guitars. I like certain other technical aspects of the song. But the song itself? It was boring to me.

Most of these XM Sirius Octane songs which they rerotate every hour, sound filled with drum machines and computerized guitars made to sound like real guitars. Lots of good songs in there but I can tell the fake ones right away.

Yeah, Closer and Crying Time are two very different songs but they are equal to me. They're my favorite two songs on the album.

Honest Man is my fzve tune from the last 5 years.

But it is impossible to single out a song in such a well-built recording

Nothing But Love is my favourite, the best song I've heard in a long time.

It's quite a long song (5min:25sec), I wonder if they plan to make a shorter radio edit.
If they do, without ruining it, I reckon it could be their breakout track.

Nothing But Love IS fucking phenomenal! As far as editing it down, I think the best way would be to just fade out the end right after the chorus and it would end up in the mid 4:00 range. Otherwise it would ruin the song I think. The whole song is awesome, but man, the solo and little breakdown right after it are enough to give you goosebumps and it's without question the most badass minute of music I've heard in a long, long time.

I cannot wait to hear the album tomorrow!!! I haven't been this excited to buy an album since TDTH when I first got into LIVE as a diehard fan! The more I read about the album and the more I listen to the Fat Daddy's show the more I forget about LIVE and Ed!!!! hi.gif

Not my favorite, but I just realized that What's Wrong is a pretty awesome song. For some reason it reminds me of Pearl Jam.

Tredecim is also being underrated, imo.

I know folks are cutting on Sing, but it has the ability to be a catchy party tune. Let it grow. I am going to attempt to give a concise review of all the songs in the coming days.

I CAN NOT FUCKING PICK A SONG!

Even What's Wrong which seemed a little less enjoyable to me is now among the hits in my head! I can not fucking stop listening to the album. So smooth, no standouts, a firm and grand MASTERPIECE this one is. They are DOOMED to be a success, if not, they shall know that at least several hundred people will always support them and I will be amongst those

Skipped work today... and in the North of St Petersburg, Russia, a small car was standing, lost inside the ocean of blocks of flats... people wandering around stared with interest, teenagers stopped an opened their mouths, old ladies rushed away closing their ears, grown up men nodded their heads...
I was sitting in the car spinning Honest Man at the top of the volume. It did not go unnoticed

Full review to come soon. Thank god we have TGF. LONG LIVE THE BAND!
