Cant see who else's voice fits so well with that music. Hits me in the face like a Mack Truck, heavy beefy, raw, powerful, clean.

Food for thought about the lead singer. I am pretty sure that KM didn't just go drink a beer while the rest of the band wrote all the music. Without him, we don't get some of the great music on the disc. You can't have one without the other.

Personally, I think he sounds great and does a lot of things with his voice that he hasn't done before. I don't like the way they produced the vocals on some of the choruses, it sounds like they pulled the volume back on his voice (the chorus of the Few for one).

I'm very much looking forward to this. I've tried to ignore the hype, especially the hype when there wasn't even a song released yet, because I don't trust hype, but I've liked what the band has put out there on the 'net.

That said, it's going to take forever for the CD to get here IF it ever arrives. I swear, the postal system in this place is awful! Wish we had iTunes or Amazon...

I second you on that. KM is not only a very good and "technical" singer, but also a great frontman for the band.
(and I'm not a candlebox fan).

Never really posted on this forum..

But about this Album I have to Shout it out:

IT"S GREAT!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT, Listen to it a couple of times,
I love Silly things, Closer, nothing but love and Sing...
To be honest I love it all! music.gif WOW

I agree: you can't copare it with Ed's work..I listen to his album only just one time,
and it didn't really moved me..I still like his work, don't get me wrong. But mostly I like
his voice not really his new music..
He is talking about Rock, but he can learn from the Gracious Few!

Yeah, I noticed that, too.. on The Few. Regardless, the vocals are growing on me and I like them better every day. His vocals also are extremely versatile, which I think is a nice thing.

What timezone does Amazon run on? It's the 14th on the East coast of the USA but MP3s are still unavailable to download from the MP3 page on Amazon.

Not sure Dangum, but you have to download their application to download the mp3's.

They are still not up yet.

It's also on iTunes as of about an hour ago.

I'd better get my CD tomorrow... at least I've got Closer to listen to until I get it! smile.gif

I think you can leave closer on loop 24/7 and not ever tire hearing it.
