rockin.gif YES, the best album of my collection is in my house, Goosebumps everywhere, it got right to my heart & soul!! #AMAZING and each song is growing stronger, each time I listen to it!! For the first time I shed a tear while listening to music. Even SS never got me so far, and that one was my fav high above all....but TGF...F#CK OutOfThisWorld!

lol, SR-71's biggest hit was written by Butch Walker.

Butch Walker is a badass who writes hit songs for everyone. Love that guy.

I never was TOO excited to wait for the release of this record. yeah, was even more excited for the release of BoP and SFBM. I wanted to hear proper versions of the song before being enthousiast and all for this unknown release/band. But because of the positive reviews I ordered the thing yesterday.

I got the cd today, and I must say: wooohooo. Chad, Pat and Chad really care about rock music. That Candlebox singer's voice really suits the music. This really sounds like a nice combo of the 70ies Led Zeppelin music and the 90ies music. I really enjoy it, and I think this album shows that it was not just 'luck' that Live went that big in the 90ies. They were and are just really talented.
Too bad they were forced to put the creative spark away for like 10 years, but the result now is a record that (in the real rock genre) might be the best record for me in the last 10 years. How ironic!

And, as others stated, some songs can REALLY grown after listening to it more. Awesome cd!

Could someone send me the TGF link as well. Hey, it's justified. I just had a setback from surgery and can't drive again. U better believe I'll be buying the real thing when I'm cleared to be back on the road.

I just ordered it but I would like a PM with a link, please. I hate waiting. I should've ordered it sooner. I'm not sure I'll love KM's voice. I like the music so far, and I was at Fat Daddy's in York... I liked what I heard then, but the snippets on amazon make me think I don't love Kevin's voice... it's driving me a bit nuts.

Have an interesting question for those who don't like Kevin's vocal - what lead singers are your favorite? I just find it interesting because I always love a male vocalist who can deliver high notes with power (Robert Plant, Freddy Mercury, etc.) but I know not everyone appreciates it.
