That depends on how much you eat, cuz pot actually speeds up your metabolism. So, if you can avoid the munchies, it would actually be a really great diet. But the fact that your metabolism speeds up is the reason you get the munchies...so that's probably why it's so hard to resist.

Oh Chooky, Halestorm played a festival with Tantric the other day. I asked the people on the Tantric board what they thought and they loved them. The one girl even talked with Lzzy and was saying how cool she and Arejay are. She said they rocked and made a brand new fan! Awwww. I love reading that stuff! She even got the EP and is anxious for the real cd now!

that's awesome!! i was listening earlier this afternoon to an interview they did on WMMR when they played in philly for the SnoCore Tour and they did an acoustic version of "Takes My Life"...it was great! i also read on their message board that apparently they were hanging out at the Tourist Inn the weekend after we saw them. on that saturday night, when Headcase was playing again.

So what did you guys think of Chris singing I Dare You on AI last night? I was so shocked when they said he was going to sing that!!!! He started out really good but then lost his voice. Of course the judges thought it was a bad song. They are such retards!!! Any song that they don't know is a "bad song." Anyway it was cool as shit to see one of my favorite bands represented by Chris once again! I like him. Did you know he is also a big Tantric fan?!

I was also when they said he was going to sing it and my response to Chris through the tv was " good luck to you" because that is a hard assed song to sing. And, he did prove that he had luck on his side because his voice was inches away from totally cracking up. He was really struggling. He could have had such an embarrasing night. He's really lucky.
Ah well, what the hell, it was still cool to hear him rock out to Shinedown. Hopefully that will give the band more exposure and get them to come to NYC....., hopefully

He did an awesome job with that song and that's impressive! Not just anyone could even get it close to the notes like Brent can hit them. I hope he takes it easy on his voice though, poor thing was losing it at the end. I hope he wins, i really like him too

Yeah he didn't do a great job of it but the three times I've seen Brent do it live it never quite measured up to me. It's a hard fucking song to sing! I wonder why he would have chosen such a difficult song? Anyway I was just happy to see Shinedown getting some love!

He gave me goosebumps with it in the beginning. Even though he lost it at the end, I still liked it.

I'm really loving "Lady so Divine" now. That song stays on repeat. It just reminds me of classic rock, like some Pink Floyd. The music is awsome (i love the bass especially) the guitar solo is great and the vocals are perfect as usual. Brent is one of the best singers to come on the scene in recent years. This band is so underated.

Oh and back to idol, Chris seriously needs some major vocal lessons because he still sounds like he sings from his throat and his voice lacks dynamics. That's the difference between an okay singer and a dynamite singer like Brent, Kowalczyk, and Serj ( in terms of strength, i think Serj from System has the strongest voice ever!!!
