This is 3/4ths of the band that made SFBM had in them!

All I can think about is the fact that I am going to get to see this sh*t at least three times in concert in the next month and a half! Oh my goodness gracious, I can't wait.

One more thought. Kevin needs to quit Candlebox. I can fully commit to quitting Ed and forgetting about Live, and fully commit to TGF, if it didn't feel so much like a side project for Kevin. It's like if Ryan Howard played for the Phillies and the Braves. It's getting in the way of my feelings.

All Candlebox fans must immediately accept the fact that I have usurped their lead singer. He must only work for TGF from now on. He must move to Lancaster and never mention Candlebox again.

Seriously though, does anyone else feel this way? I don't feel as though Kevin is my lead singer of my favorite band as long as he is planning to write music and perform with his other band. I need him to be exclusive with my band if I am going to fully get behind him as my band's lead singer. My heart isn't all the way into it. This is the same reason why I could never date a stripper. Well, that, and my obvious inability to ever possibly get one interested in me. But I digress.

So Fish you are sure that TGF can substitute Live for you? What if Kevin quits Candlebox and TGF go separate ways in 3 years?

You are forgetting about Sean who is also a member of Candlebox.

It doesn't really bother me, but then again I follow a lot of musicians who have multiple projects. It is pretty common these days.

Kevin has indicated that Candlebox is taking a break for at least two years. That's longer than some bands last. smile.gif

Old Live (MJ through TDTH) will always be #1 in my heart.

I never thought that I would go there - but I think that I am done following Ed.

But What if live get's back together?

First, there must be a full and complete mea culpa and coming together of Ed and CCP. If that doesn't happen, and it is a tour and a money-grab, then I'm not even interested. But if that hapens, and there is a real coming together, then I'm in, but we have a potential dichotomy: the shows and the albums. I will go to the shows and love it. But as for the albums, Live will only ever get me back if Ed works with CCP the way Kevin worked with CCP. I want to hear a Live album created by CCPE. Future live music (if any) will only be at the top of my musical interests again if CCPE creates the music, and not just Ed with the other four backing him up. I swear to you, I won't buy another Live album unless I have a clear understanding from a Chad Taylor blog, Facebook entry and Tweet that he has endorsed the new music as a creation of CCP and that CCP is proud of it. Period.

I actually don't feel that way, yet. All I feel is pure excitement about the CD dropping in just a few short days. Maybe in a year when it gets closer to when Kevin and Sean go back to Candlebox I'll start feeling that way.
