I have a great Fosterchild story that involves me getting into a yelling match with their tour manager and watching them play in front of 5 people because I told all of our fans to go home.

That is what happens when you tell the local opener that they can only play for 15 minutes.

Seriously, their music is alright but these guys had a serious case of "we are too good for everyone." I was excited to meet Kevin but his "security" wouldn't let me near him and he definitely didn't make any move to approach me.

Absolutely the worst experience I have had working with a national touring act. They were touring with a band called Fixer though, who were really cool guys and pretty much just played 80s hair metal.

Oh and the next night their tour manager got arrested for trying to punch a cop on a beach.

I am glad you had a good experience with them, and I hope they have parted ways with their tour manager. As for my experience, if they are the nicest guys I will ever meet then I am completely fucked. I am sure they are nicer to their fans than they were to us.

We worked with artists more popular than those guys and were treated far better, can't win 'em all I guess.

Sadly, Fosterchild is unsigned at the moment, they have been for a while now.
Hopefully, soon they will land a record contract.

Fosterchild mainly only played in bars located within the Philly area at the moment.

Sorry, that you had a horrible experience with them. I am sure Fosterchild wouldn't mind if I apologized for them, Sorry!

It happens, their tour manager was awful to us and it was really disappointing that Kevin was "off-limits" (come on, he was the drummer of Fuel, not Bono!). The other guys could have been complete saints and the experience still would have been terrible. Unfortunately, no one in the band tried to make it right so they got to play for 5 people.

This was nearly three years ago now so I hope things have changed! Just couldn't resist sharing my bizarre story.

I manage a couple of bands and play in one, this particular experience was while in the band I currently manage and play in. It is strange that both them and Lovedrug have popped up on this forum recently since I've played with both of them.

I saw them once years ago when Kevin was still in the band. Thought they sounded great and put on a good show. I didn't even realize they were still around. Of course I don't get out much these days. But thanks for the update!
