I just realized i lowered my self to the level that i dislike so much about the forum, so I need to get this off my heart, for real;

I'm sorry for calling you that. It was out of line..... Although - I'd still like to throw some critisism to some writers here.

I think all of us, really really get your dissapointment of Ed, and how much of a douche he might be. But you know what? I thought most of the inputs here were quite intelligent, and well constructed critisism, until i went further, and read more threads, and just realized this is no longer negative constructive critsism, this is really just bitter people acting, well - almost childish.

You see, when threads are just spammed with people just making fun, or even worse, laughing about how few people that go to see Ed and his concert in each review. For me, i think it's really just sad to see grown up people, especially who just wrote something intelligent and constructive to lower them selves to a level where they actually make fun of Ed, and for a while even seem to enjoy that only 200 people attended to a gig that he had.

That my friends, is just being bitter - and nothing good comes out of it... And when you start reading the same input from everyone in each thread about a gig that Ed have, and it almost seems like everyone is making fun/enjoying that Ed's career is going down the drain, then it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Just my 2 cents..

//Johan

Johan, can you understand that with all pure hate, dislike, bitterness or whatever you call it, you just made a thread that will become the same as dozens of other threads? More than a half of us want to see 1 thing. Ed coming back after he fails, say he is sorry and make another Live album with an input by 4 grand musicians who to most of us are much more than simply musicians

Ed:

Sure. But we all know that will never happen. It will just be an ongoing discussion leading nowhere but bitterness, like a Guns'N'Roses reunion will never happen. Axl will never forgive and make up. He's always gonna be a fucking idiot.

But that doesn't make me want to make fun of how bad his life is at the moment, or even enjoy it. And even if i would at one time, i woudln't just keep repeating this, over and over again.

If you can't take people poking some fun at Ed then I'm not sure there is help for you. The people who dislike Ed now do so for well constructed reasons. However yes some of us, me included also like to poke a bit of fun. It's not the end of the world, nor does it make our main points less valid. Do I enjoy seeing Ed fail? Of course, because i don't think he deserves success. Let me put it this way, I don't want to see Ed in rehab or have harm come to him, I don't want his children to not be provided for. I don't think any of us do. (not that this will happen, regardless of how badly Alive does and he does he's still lightyears richer than us.). But I will laugh when 7 people turn up to his show. I don't see what the big deal is. Some people seem to take a shot at Ed way too personally. I'm sure there will be more photoshops to come too, it amuses some of us. But like I said I don't think that makes points in actual serious aeguments less valid. Ed is a fallen idol to many of us. He's not fallen in a tragic way like drugs or dismemberment or whatever where all due respect and sorrow is to be employed. He's fallen in a lot of peoples eyes for being a total douche and throwing his talent away willingly. I think he deserves ridicule and he is in the public light, if people can make fun of Justin Beiber then I see no reason that makes Ed any different.

That is riddled with spelling mistakes sorry. This iPhone is terrible to use, it's getting worse. The last upgrade to safari means that beyond the first line that I type I can't see the rest of what I'm typing until it's been posted, what a pain sad.gif

I do not know a thing about whether it will happen or not. If you do, I envy you.

Hey Hey, Ding Ding Ding. I'm in the same boat as Pokey. I am not bitter about it, but want Ed to wake up and grovel. lol.gif He doesn't deserve to be successful as a solo artist. He's lost sight of the art in my opinion. It's ok fo rhim to subscribe to the industry's workings of today to get more shit into the music market palce. As for his comments on why he is the end all be all............it's a typical response for an insulated egotistical has been.

Oh, and well.............

Seriously, WTF are you talking about? Ed's life isn't bad. He has a great family, more money than I'll ever have, and he loves everything about his new solo career.

We're making fun of the direction he has taken his music, his life is more than fine!
