'All I Hear' is available through download on Amazon.com also (not sure if it's album only)

Also Amazon.com has samples of all songs

Just on the samples I sense some filler, some pretty good songs, and Appetite, Honest Man, and Crying Time are winners.

Then you didn't happen to listen to the concert bootleg. Rest of You is a filler in my opinion, but it may eventually grow on me. I like the hard line rhythm of all these songs. You won't get any bad marks from me, as I have been waiting for this record for a long long time.

I added up the track lengths and it comes to 58 minutes and 30 seconds. I love longer albums. music.gif

Thoughts:

1. The samples sound GREAT! Really great to hear these songs in full stereo.
2. The album is definitely a great length!
3. I agree with OTD that TROY seems like a filler track, I'm also not too hung up on Sing either.
4. All I Hear appears to be an "album only" download track, which is disappointing. Hopefully it is somewhere on the physical album too.

If you haven't listened to the Fat Daddy's boot and you are judging these songs by the samples then you are uhoh.gif

EDIT: The thing I noticed about the All I Hear sample is that it doesn't have the same sound as the rest of the album. I wonder if that track was recorded in a different session (I think that was discussed at some point on Facebook).

If it doesn't fit the sound of the album as a whole then I can completely support that decision, it only surprised me since they played the song live first.

This looks promising... All I Hear should be available alone.

That would be fantastic if you could. Although I've not attempted to download an mp3 from email via my iPhone. Any idea if it works? Would appreciate a try!

Only 3 songs under 3 minutes. Long albums are definitely win!

I kinda like 'Sing', has sort of a reggae/Caribbean feeling to it.

Actually don't worry Dan, got it to work on the amazon site with the iPhone.

FUCK this album is gonna be good! Nobody Knows I think that's "all I hear" with the slight dub/reggae riff in it. Sing is the one with just the slightest tinge of "forever" in it.

Closer and The Few are just bad ass songs and I really liked the sound of The rest of you. Nothing but love and Guilty fever will still be the 2 that might be the hardest to grow on me. But other than that. Damn bring this album on!
