There it is, unbiased and unconnected thoughts on the music. I will not be doing this for Ed because honestly I would be embarrased to do so on this board and I'm sure I'd catch flac for it. I like his album but I'm not going to ask other people to listen to it.

Not at all, it's a gaming site and I don't want any band war crap carrying over because they really don't care and would be wondering why I brought this shit over. (and it's definately not more shameful than posting on a fan board of a 90's band that has sucked for a decade and doesn't even exist).

Seriously, I've known these guys for a while and they're all pretty cool but I think I would get some negative feedback if they thought I was posting Ed's music because I thought it was awesome and wanted them to check it out. I don't see anyone on the board being into it.

I decided to take a page out of hoodie's book and posted a short thread over on the Something Awful music section for TGF with links to Honest Man and Tredecim .. will post any feedback here. Although that place is known for being particularly harsh I expect to be chewed up just for posting it, will be interesting to see what they have to say considering I can't see Live being a band that collectively would be view positively there so gaining any kind of positive response is starting out behind the 8-ball. or something.
I'm not going to bother posting an Ed review thread as I'll probably just get myself banned or something. Will post what sort of feedback I get whether it be positive or negative.

haha you know how when you open that first bottle of wine and it's 5pm, then suddenly you blink and rub your eyes groggily and look at the clock and its becomes 11pm? Time passes normally for us in that time...

No seriously though, SA is huge, you only really keep up with what you want to keep up with, the forum has thousands of active members and so many categories like ones I don't think I've ever clicked on like gardening, cooking, poker .. but it's got a good TV and movies forum. Don't really like their music area much though. Good sports forum and then just the general bullshit they come up with. It's not so much "keeping up" as it is just popping in and out.

haha has to keep tabs on the TGF vs Ed war! You know, the one that TGF are so invested in to bring down Ed's sales and fanbase! He was probably more checking to make sure I didn't say anything bad about Ed, I assume if I had then he would have spent $10 for a membership so he could post a defense.
