That was spot on. I'm sorry to say that the majority of America thinks that all aussies sound like that.

Doesn't change the fact that Ed is still "rock" the way people consider Bon Jovi to be "rock", it's the sort of rock that the middle aged secretaries at work seem to think is about as heavy and as rockin' as you can get and somehow think that listening to it makes them attractive 21yr olds. Well that's the vibe I get anyways. There's definitely different degrees. I don't have a strong Australian accent, but I'm sure to you it's still very identifiably Australian. But then there are the ones that even we can hear as over the top Australian accents. Usually (although of course not always) sterotyped as Bogans.
