*If they ever get back together, I don't really see them playing anything from TGF or Ed's solo shit. They'd be smart to keep it strictly to the first 4 albums, and whatever new album they might be making.

One song from V, BOP, and SFBM would be nice for the set, and there is no way that the band wouldn't play Heaven. Ed solo material or TGF songs would never happen in a Live set. Live has more than enough songs on their own, so there would be no need.

I would think that if they did get back together, that they'd likely only want to play music that they all had input on. Sorry, but V, BOP, and SFBM are complete 1 side shit music for the most part. Play the music that was made by the band.

Heaven is a fucking terrible song too, especially when you compare it to the classics from the first 4 albums.

V was made with input from the entire band too.

You're right they do have so much material. That's why so many of us were pissed they never explored that in later years and kept stagnant setlists.

I feel sorry for the V material. It didn't deserve the reception it got, because it was never intended to be a proper album, as we now know. In honesty, I wouldn't mind a few V songs (and Like I Do from BOP) sneaking into any Live set-list. I'd also like lots more album tracks from TV, SS and TDTH....

Finally, someone said it! I thought this whole community was deaf or something when people said they liked Heaven. It reeks of the same anti-rock sentiments that Grace and Love shines has.

I think I could agree with yall though about them dropping all but the first 4 albums and whatever new material they have. Market-wise it would be smart... and I'm sure they will be hurting for money by then.

I'm not a Heaven fan either, I think it's balls. I mean not just because it doesn't speak to me in any way, it's just .. blah. Like I Do should have been the first single damnit.

I'd say good call on that but I'd open up with Simple Creed!

V, BOP and SFBM? The only songs I would even touch from those albums in a concert would be Simple Creed and The River (yes, he just said the River).

The rest of it should just stay on the album where it belongs.

My bad, I alwyas forget about Like I Do cause it was on BOP, which sucked. Great fucking song in concert. And ya - Heaven is weak.

I cannot stand Simple Creed's lyrics. Puppy scruff?! Are you kidding me?! I love the music for it though, but it would need new lyrics.

Like I Do would be the lone exception, play that, and only that from the last 3 albums.

You're getting caught on the lyrics again. This song straight up rocks. I'm telling you, last time the opened a show with this I was sitting next to fans of the opening act, they were talking about how they hoped live was good, and that song set the tone for them for the rest of the show.

People hear that riff and it fucking rocks. I don't like songs with puppy scruff and bubble gum, but that is a kick ass show opener that demands the attention of everyone and gets them into the set!

I agree that the music rocks, unfortunately when I hear Ed bring out his bullshit high pitched voice and yell "PUPPY SCRUFF!", I want to stab myself in the throat to end the torture.

The lyrics on V are terrible, but a lot of those songs were still great in concert. I always wanted to hear more V tunes, especially "People Like You" which I think they maybe played once.
