Why anyone would want to see a rock show in a "classy" venue is just beyond me. Rock music is not classy!!

I dont care if its rock, pop, rap, country, etc, put my ass in a venue that isnt in the projects and that doesnt smell like a public toilet please.

Actually its a pretty decent club, and has been remodeled. Nice try though. Some of the best shows I've ever been to have been at dives. The Crowbar in State College, Pa was a dive, but the place had an amazing history. CBGB's was a dive, but again the place had amazing history.

Crowbar was cool. Live played there too!!

I wasnt talking about any place in particular. I just prefer nice and clean over dirty and stinky. Would you rather stay at a Ritz Carlton, or the Red Roof Inn?

Probably somewhere in between.

My main point was that not all grungy venues are "in the projects" nor "smell like a toilet." There are some that fit that description of course, but just because a place looks like a dive doesn't mean it is run like one.

My point is that regardless of how it is run, if its in the projects, or if it smells like a toilet, I'd prefer another venue! :-)

Ed is not going to fit in here... he is going to need to put a 10 ft. Jesus behind him, maybe a manger scene... oh yeah, and sparkles!!! lots and lots of sparkles. I bet he'll wear that scarf he sometimes wears but then he'll take it (and his shirt) off for the ladies Woo!!!

Yeah, machine shop is very small and they also have those damn poles that block parts of the stage. They will pull it off though. It's a complete shithole but is kind of a famous shithole. Kind of like cbgb's was. A lot of the places they have been playing are total shitholes.
