I quite enjoyed that, much to my surprise. Sean looked like he belongs in a Faith No More tribute band. I kept expecting to burst out with "Left something in, toss something out..." for some reason. lol.gif He's entertaining, though. The whole band were much livelier (bad pun) than I've seen in more than a decade.

This band is super energetic on stage, it is quite fun to watch.

QUOTE(Badman @ Aug 2 2010, 10:58 pm) *

I thought the camera was a little cheesy. It's great to see the band having fun and this "Sean" has won my heart with this video but I just want more art out of it... Like some black and white shots of an old man who is constantly looking and failing to find a job. I think that could resonate with a lot of people... especially if they played on anti-corporate sentiment to show that there is work... it's just not for honest men.

Weird. I too envisaged this kind of concept as part of the video - even though that might have been cheesey.

The good news is that these extra imagery can be added to the video at some point if TGf aren't happy with the message or whatever the video delivers. All-round, the video is cool. At least we get to see the band (the WHOLE band, this time heh). We can't really complain - what more can you do if you're just shooting 5 guys performing a song?

it's a decent enough music vid, but for a first window into this new band, we need something moore captivating and memorable, . i know money mihgt be an issue coz 35mm is very expensive. shit on m me if you want but this song deserves better.

I agree with you.

I think even a crowd rocking out with the band could've made the difference.

There's a nice high quality high definition (1280 x 720) rip of the video on the The Gracious Few Facebook page.

I've downloaded it (60 megabytes / mp4 container / avc1 codec) and uploaded it to Mediafire.

Looks pretty good!

Yeah that's not a bad video. I don't think it's quite as hard hitting overall as it tried to be, but I like the idea and the quality, and of course it's great to see them thrashing around again. Good work!

Those of you tracing FacBook may well be aware that in my promotion works I have reached the director of the Russian alternative music tv channel with a request to air this vid.

I think if it airs here, it will be a huge step orward and a big victory in the promotion of TGF

Good work!

I'm surprised that Honest Man hasn't appeared on Rage (in Australia). For those who don't know Rage is a musical institution in Australia. It's broadcast all over the country every Friday and Saturday nights.

Unfortunately, they only accept submissions from bands themselves (on digital Beta tape), so if anybody is on Facebook suggest to TGF to go to this page and find out how to submit the video.
http://www.abc.net.au/rage/submissions/checklist.htm

If TGF sends them the video it's virtually guaranteed airplay (at least once).

Dangum, just pop KM a PM here and he will make something happen - already spoke to him about something similar for radio in SA and he just needs us to point him in the direction so they can initiate the process of getting material to various international radio and tv.
