Its convenient to get to, just off I-75/I-85 at North Avenue in Downtown. Not in the best part of town though.

In town for business or pleasure? Drop me a line if you're going to make it.

Side note.. I think Live played one of their very first Atlanta shows there back ~1992.

The Masqurade will be a cool place to see a concert at! My friends band plays there all the time so its got a cool feel to it. Small but will be neat to be that close to the band. Korn played there a while back so have big band come through there as well as local bands. Cant wait! rockin.gif

Of the venues I've played the Masquerade would be the coolest place to see this band.

Nearly all of the Southeast shows are in small capacity venues so they will all be intimate (none over 1,000). I am surprised there are so many Southeast shows, normally a band will just hit Raleigh/Charlotte and then Atlanta to pick up all the fans from that region. That allows them to play a bigger venue, but eh I'll never complain about small shows after all they are usually the most fun.

Depends on which room also. If its the top story then it is much bigger than Eddies Attic. I expect this is where they will play as well. I'll be there!!!!!!

The Masquerade (either floor) will be a GREAT place to see this balls out rock band. I'm considering driving the 5 hours myself even with Raleigh and Charlotte being really close.

Also, the Handlebar is always a great place to see a show if anyone is in the area. Great ownership, great sounding room.

Fair enough, I like both for very different reasons. As far as the mid-sized bar venues in Atlanta the Masquerade is really, really fun for rock. The Tabernacle would have been cool too.

Oh, the Tabernacle would have been very nice indeed. Probably a little larger than what they are looking for though.

If yall make it to town that weekend, come early and get out to the GT/UVA football game on Saturday! Its just down the street from the Masquerade. Will be a fun weekend for sure.
