You can hardly promote anything if you do not know a shit about what you are promoting.

Sorry to even be bothering you with this, but without ANY Live fans in Russia during this summer I got a bit under 100 people into TGF.

What did you do apart from fucking spamming Facebook?

Ouch lol.gif

To each their own! I rather like Russia.

It isn't so much a Russia thing, though it wouldn't be in my top five re-location countries were I to go expatriate. It's more of a New Jersey thing.

Beyond all the stuff I can see and enjoy just here alone, I love being less than an hour from New York City. The Jersey Shore is just a couple hours away. Within 3 hours, I can be in Philadelphia (or York!!!!!). Within 5 hours I can be in Boston, the mountains of Vermont, and possibly even Washington D.C.

Don't mind Nick guys. He's just ultra-sensitive when it comes to Ed.

Alex Turner did actually. Well, I bet he is about 2389563469867 times more popular than all your rockies.. oh hell, you hardly know who Alex Turner is.... I forgot about the flag under your avatar.

You're doing it again, Ed. Just because Nick is a dolt, don't lump the rest of us in.

Btw, I've heard of the Arctic Monkeys. But I had no idea who their lead singer was. Then again, there are probably a dozen bands whose music I enjoy for which I could not name the lead singer.

Who has heard of the band 'Thriving Ivory"? They'll be touring with Ed K + band this year...

I've never heard of them.

I did a bit of research into the band and noticed they had a #1 album! In 2008. Well, it technically was number 1... on the "Billboard Heatseekers Chart".

I guess my point is, that the only US chart that matters is the "Billboard 200". All the rest (Rock, Pop, iTunes, whatever) are just sideshows.

Also, what good does it do anyone?

God damnit you fucking idiot, what good does it do anyone? It does the 100 people who discovered a new band and a new avenue of music they previously were unknown to. It doesn't have to translate into god damn sales for it to "do anyone good", what matters is that people are enjoying the god damn music, why is that so hard to get through your head.

pokey, sometimes you just have to let things go. it is admirable that you persist with trying to save him, but i sense an ulcer coming your way if you aren't careful. health comes first.

It COULD mean, butI am doubting that most of the people that are "into" TGF in Russia are paying the insane charges to ship the new CD to their country. Honest Man can not be found on Russian Itunes either.

Oh, and I just found out that Rocky 4 was actually filmed in Wyoming. So Rocky didn't even bother going to Russia either.

Rocky 4 is the greatest movie of all time. Followed by Rocky,Rocky Balboa,Rocky 3,Rocky 2...

I'm sure Rocky 4 was filmed in Canada.....or is Wyoming in Canada? Meh,I don't know my geography to well North of Cape York...

rocky 4 is a relic of my youth. "I defeat all man. Soon I defeat real champion". Gold. Rocky balboa is def the best after the original. awesome movie. Anyone who hasnt seen it or has been turned off by some of the corny sequals, do yourself a favour and get the first film out.

I should have realized that Rocky 4 wasn't filmed in Russia. They basically stay on a farm to train, and then just show up in the arena. You never see any sites of the country.

It is an awesome movie. Apollo dying always gets me. I noticed you ommited Rocky 5 from your list, any reason. tongue.gif
