Yeah I'll probably go. If its acoustic solo it will be even better I think.

(Ed K.) Hi matt, Atlanta will be the semi-acoustic line-up...in the same vein as the "EXTRA" performance (ramy on drums, james G. and I on acoustic guitar, MTV unplugged style-old school ;-)

Ed just replied with this on facebook about the Atlanta show!

I wonder how many more shows will be a semi acoustic style show? I think this may be a better fit for Ed's solo career when touring. The full band thing just doesnt quite have the magic that a LIVE show had. Just from what Ive seen anyway on you tube and from what others have had to say. If its anything like his solo show last summer then it will be a good one. That show was great! He describes it as a MTV Unplugged style....hmmmm... interesting. It sure would kick ass if they brought out some couches on stage!

I work at one of the venues Ed is going to be performing at on the tour (not going to say which) but tickets sales are sucking big time. As of the last time I looked only 25 tickets sold.

Well the Atlanta show is free so if I show up and there is hardly anyone there then that should be the telling sign. If you cant fill a place sponsored by a major rock radio station to a free show then your career is over in my book. Ed has a good following in this area so I doubt that will happen being a free show but we shall see. I will be atttending though now that I know its more of an acoustic gig than full rock band show. His acoustic show last summer was really good.

Fuck semi-acoustic tours. Bring out the electricity and rock.

I'd like to believe you are being honest (you probably are) but your comment leaves room for doubt.

This is true however, Ed gave his nutsack to God and now can no longer rock! rockin.gif So acoustic is the best thing going for him now!

this just might wishful thinking but i hope we get some US tour dates, maybe AC or Philly.

Perhaps a clue from an older post to where you work? Based on this, if you speak the truth, I'd say it would have to be the Lancaster gig.

TGF's MySpace page has had this 8/31 date listed for Lancaster for the past 4 months. Nothing about it though. Could be a bookmark for a show. Chameleon calendar has Indie Night listed.

Yeah I didn't really read much into that besides they were gonig to release Summer Dates. I think they just put in Lancaster since it's one of the base cities for TGF and they would've had to put in a city to post anything under tour dates.
