Another question I would like to hear answered is who among the band decided on the setlist each night? I would think it was Ed but I wonder if anyone else got a say in what they wanted to play? Would be intresting to see how that was decided all the time!

Taylor touched on that. Seemed like they just didn't rehearse together around the time when the setlists started to suck.

No! She Ain't What She Seems was a fan creation. It's actually REALLY bad. It was just a fan remix of Don't Wait which surfaced in 2000 under the guise of being a legitimate remix. Live had nothing to do with this aside from writing the original song.

idunno the guy who put it out let everyone know that it was his own dabbling, folks who got it later didn't know how the track came about...he just took the bridge and made it prominent. whack

Haha, it's funny you nring this up, cause i was listening to this myself yesterday.

For the ones who're too lazy to download:

"Oke...hold on...In my entire lifetime, since, uhm, kindergarten, I'm fuckin' stuck to this mothafucker that holds the microphone. Let me just say that when we were, when we were fuckin' young, when we were really, really fuckin' young, like 13/14 years old, this guy starts with songs like Who put the fear in here and uhm, Savior for a day . And all this shit happened at a young age. And I gotta say, I was answering some interviews today for some fuckin' records and MTV and shit like that, and I was thinking: you know what.... these mothafuckers don't have a CLUE of what it takes to get involved with a guy like this man. F*ck! They fuck his ego and all this shit and he's always like 'thanks so much'... (immitating Ed in a very sarcastic way:P). Right! I love this guy man.... Ed Kowalczyk!"

*after some loud apllouse*

"man... I never kissed him before tonight..."

Ed: "Too bad"

As there's no video, I keep wondering: did they actually kiss?

Funny you should mention that because this came up once before in a meet in greet and I was told that Hero of Love was written for TDTH by the all knowing Jimmy Lang. Dont know if it was recorded differently or what but that could be one of the 35 outtakes of TDTH.

I also remember the band debuting Nobody Knows and Call Me A Fool which was titled as Fool of Love then on the TDTH tour. These I think were written during the tour but its possible they could have been TDTH outtake as well.

Yeah I remember them playing Nobody Knows in 2000 already, didnt know about Call me a Fool.

35outtakes of TDTH? That's... wow. Is it 35 orginal songs that didnt make it, or does that contain 3 versions of TSUFL, Sun loop version, etc.?

That was from a 2001 show @ Grunspan. They sounded all 3 sheets to the wind and, although Chad loves him like a brother the alcohol was coming on like truth serum there!!!! I found this clip to be telling of possible internal problems.

In my entire lifetime since uh kindergarten I haven't stopped this motherfucker from getting to the microphone because I love him to death. But let me just say that you know when we were fuckin really, really fuckin young, like I'm talking like 13-14 yrs old, this guy started throwing songs at me like "Who put the fear in here" and "Savior for a day", and all this shit that happened at a young age, and i gotta say, I was answering interviews today, for uh some fucking reporter for mtv or some shit like that, and I was thinking, ya know what, theses motherfuckers don't have a CLUE of what it takes to get involved with a guy like this man.
Fuck him, fuck his ego and all this shit he always like "thanks so much". I love this guy man. Ed Kowalczyk cmon.

*Applause*

Ed: Wow
I never kissed him before tonight. That felt pretty good.

Chad: Not too bad..(mumbles)

Ed: That was nice, a kiss.

Yes. There is a photo to prove it (sorry, dont have it at hand).

When Chad saw the picture a year later, he said "Argh, don't have my lady see this!" lol.gif

Chad has this to say about "Heaven":
QUOTE
I loved the melody to Heaven (and I’m sure Miley Cyrus recently ripped a bit of it in The Climb) but wasn’t sure how our rocker fans base would feel about the lyrics.

I just checked out the Miley Cyrus track Chad mentioned but didn't see any resemblance to Heaven. Does anybody else hear the similarities?
