look at all those bald patches in the crowd...
It's like they're just watching animals at the zoo or something.

They're wondering when Stevie Wonder started playing the drums. Seriously, watch Ramy in the video.....if you can stand it that is.

And I still hear, "You were wrong, there was CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG".

Guys, that was a GREAT crowd. You don't understand marketing and promotion. For an "after work" outdoor show, having 100 people there is a real achievement. This is actually the largest after work crowd ever drawn for a show. It broke a record. His tour is doing great, he is the top grossing musical act this year, his album is the best of all time, and that show was the pinnacle of rock concerts anywhere. God, what retards you are.

And we should take your word for it because.......?

As for calling anyone else retarded, stop projecting. And wipe the drool from your bottom lip. Oh, and don't forget to take your meds.

300 - 500 imaginary friends? That video shows 30 people tops. I'm sorry, but 300 - 500 people is just an absurd estimate.

I havent seen the video, but I can vouch for him...between 300-500 fans is probably accurate. Most people were off to the side in the shade...and even the seats they had set up were off to the side.

This was a free concert in a parking lot behind city winery at 5:00 on a tuesday afternoon...and it was over 100 degrees. I didnt expect a great turnout...and it wasnt...most of the people seemed like they just stopped by after getting out of work or whatever. Even when they played classic Live stuff the majority of fans seemed to have no idea what the music was.

Definitely wasnt the best show...probably at the bottom of the list when it comes to Live or Ed shows...but it was kind of what I expected and I still enjoyed it.

After watching the vid of the behind the scenes duting the TDTH tour at Minnesota State University and seeing that large crowd, the guys getting pumped for the show behind stage. I cant help but to wonder what is going though Ed's mind as he stares out to about 30 people standing totally motionless in front of him as he performs. So maybe there are another 100 we cant see, I dont know, all I have is the video and there cleary is no more than 30 maybe 40 people standing at the stage in a coma like state. Other walking up and then leaving. No matter how you spin it, this show cleary is the most lifeless performance from Ed's act and the fans I have ever seen. Its sad. I am not trying to put down his solo career. I was simply stating a fact that cannot be denied by anyone that is not brainwashed by Ed's cock n balls that this show looked very bleak. His band and the crowd. He may be drawind crowds in Europe, it looked like the crowds were decent over there. But, the crowds here so far are the telling story of how dead LIVE really had become to the mainstream audience in the US. And we now know that Ed was a big part of that. So maybe its fitting that he play and have only 30 people show up to see him.

And you cant compare him to TGF. People know the name LIVE and who he is. The majority have no clue who the hell The Gracious Few are. Give it time. I wish Ed's show was more like a LIVE concert, atleast have the energy of it. I would go because through all the bs I still listen to his album which I like for the most part. Some of its garbage. I still wish him well too. But that will not stop me from pointing out the obv from a youtube video. He should try to get it removed because the more people that see that clip the more are going to be like he fucking sucks now. WTF happened???

Youre a stranger to him, we're like family. We've been there for 20 years.

But we aren't family, I'm sorry to say. Not even RL friends. We're fans. Devoted fans, but we don't know the flesh and blood people behind the band at all.
I think it's important to remember this.

That's the thing, it seems like when TGF played their first festival show Nick was ready to jump on how little people were there and wouldn't accept any reasons people gave him for a smallish crowd. Now when the tables are reversed he's expecting everyone accept why Ed gets such a poor turn out.
Like I said I honestly believe Nick that there were more than 30 people there off camera, maybe not 500 because when Grace ended and applause started it wasn't very loud.

It's the performance that gets me .. by both accords the TGF festival show and this show from Ed were both disappointments crowd-wise ... the difference was the performance. I've obviously only seen video of both but the TGF boys were up and about and into it and getting their shit on regardless of how many people were there. Ed and his band just looked lifeless, the band barely moved, as I say all Ed does is walk around with his knees bent bopping.
I guess the proof may have been in what Shave said, it was a free show, and we know how the EK is motivated by the dollar, just not inspired to do anything by the fans I guess unless they're paying.

Was it over 100 at the TGF show?

FFS. This is just projection.

I would have to say if I asked a friend to go to this, who wasn't really into Live, I would be embarrased because of the crowd, I would feel lame trying to hand out at the show, and would also feel like a groupie of Ed's because I made it a point to attend a show where only about 5 percent of the people seem to know who he is or care that he is on stage.

I don't see why. Would you be embarrassed to go to a Live show if only about 5 percent of the audience knew or cared who they were?

From the video it looked like over 100 at the show, funky was there and said there were 200-250 or so all up I think. Like I say, not the greatest turn out, there were reasons. Same with Ed.

And yes that was projection, but hey it fits the bill (the dollar bill! ). Either way, for whatever reason, completely uninspired performance.

The usual crowd for those weekly shows were in line or lower than the 5pm festival for Ed's NYC show. TGF played a headlining spot at Summerfest and drew roughly 100 people. Ed and his band performing in 102 degree heat with sun beating in their face made it for tough performance conditions, and the band came through fine.

TGF and Ed will be playing mainly under 1000 person venues in the US. Without the name Live, less people will be at shows.
