Like I said, the blog was about the Live dynamic. as far as I know there was no drama with Adam. Perhaps it will be in the book.

Well if you read the whole thing you would see that I said I wish he would have a good turnout. I am only pointing out what looks to be an embarrasing and uninspired performance. I was actually looking forward to seeing him on tour and was dissapointed he was not coming close by. However, after seeing this I am not very dissapointed anymore. I dont think I would be missing much. And yes I bet Ed will miss me because thats just another dollar he wont see for his bank account. And I am betting that between an Indie release and a lawsuit pending he needs all the cash he can get right now! I saw him last summer at his solo act where there was only about 60 people and it was amazing. But that was a solo act not a rock concert. There is a big difference. You cant possibly watch this you tube video and say damn that was awesome! If so then you obv never saw a LIVE concert before.

I did read the whole thing. So saying you hope there is a good turnout makes the rest of what you said alright. Got ya.
You take one youtube clip of an outdoor show on a hot New York day at 5pm and now you're happy he's not coming to your area. Makes complete sense. I hated the Lakinis Juice clip from TGF on youtube that I saw. Will that stop me from seeing them if they come to Chicago? no.
And then you bash him more making quips about his bank account and lawsuit.
Pick a side dude.
I saw him solo at the sold out show at Schubas in Chicago and look forward to his return visit to Lincoln Hall (which is owned by the same people as Shubas) in Chicago in September.
I'll tell him hello for you.

He didn't have to speak poorly of him, he could have mentioned Adam in a positive light. It was just odd.

it was just segments of a bigger story, dont make too much of adam's omition

Wow - I watched the video's and the crowd looks bad and (taking a line from Kid Rock) the band looks like a bunch of wounded ducks up on stage. I wonder how much they are getting paid because his crowds are small and the band looks uninspired.

If you look at the Grace video I noticed that his name was written in Chalk in the upper right hand corner of the shot behind him and it looks like somebody wiped it off.

Nick - you were there so did somebody do this or did Ed do it because the spelt it wrong?

I would have to say if I asked a friend to go to this, who wasn't really into Live, I would be embarrased because of the crowd, I would feel lame trying to hand out at the show, and would also feel like a groupie of Ed's because I made it a point to attend a show where only about 5 percent of the people seem to know who he is or care that he is on stage.

I love the album and I understand that he won't be a huge draw, but this all makes me very sad to see this.

This is the point I was trying to get across too. I wish the album does well but the energy of this show is nothing what a LIVE show was and that dissappoints me as well as alot of others here. I think if the shows had more raw energy and passion that we would be excited to go but if it was like this crap on you tube I would rather keep my money and wait till Ed decides to actually put on a rock concert or go back to his acoustic shows which were very good!

I can just see random friend now - "This is lame, can we go?" or thinking "Why did he drag me to this?"

I think Chad Taylor should learn to keep certain things to himself. Opening up to strangers on the internet is never a smart thing if it makes my musical savior, Ed Kowalczyk, look bad.

Fixed it for you.

The NYC show was one of my top concert experiences ever.

Considering you listed the Starland Ballroom as possibly the best time you've ever had at a concert, adding this makes me actually pity you for the poor concert experiences you've been subjected to over your life.

Guys, that was a GREAT crowd. You don't understand marketing and promotion. For an "after work" outdoor show, having 100 people there is a real achievement. This is actually the largest after work crowd ever drawn for a show. It broke a record. His tour is doing great, he is the top grossing musical act this year, his album is the best of all time, and that show was the pinnacle of rock concerts anywhere. God, what retards you are.

look at all those bald patches in the crowd...

It's like they're just watching animals at the zoo or something.
